Thanks everyone. And Happy Birthday to @Glen\-i and @Iun! I had a nice day. I took the day off work (because i'm an adult - i do what i want), and spent the morning playing computer gamez. Then in the afternoon we went to see Star Wars again. And then out for a nice meal and cocktails in the evening. Oh, and i got this: Which is pretty sweet.

I'm the opposite. I can remember the second half better, as I had a two year break between the two halves. The first half was so long ago that I can't remember anything beyond one of the dungeons.

I don't think it matters which are the 'best' Pokemon. Part of the fun is catching something that looks interesting, and then trying it out to see what it's like, and getting attached to shit ones.

Is that the Terry Brooks adaptation? How weird, I was leafing through a Shannara book yesterday at a pub wondering whether to start reading it.

Has anyone else watched this? We're about 7 episodes in (of 10) and it's absolutely amazing. It's a documentary filmed over 10 years following the court case of a man charged with murder. Except the man was previously sent to prison for 18 years for a crime that he didn't commit, and was subsequently sueing the State for. It's incredible television. It also pretty much confirms every single stereotype of every American you've ever heard. So far i would recommend it!

I think refs are way too harsh on most handballs. I think unless a player obviously bats a ball away or does a Suarez in goal, they should be given the benfit of the doubt. It's not going to change the game that much, but it will stop these scenarios where players waft their hand near the ball and everyone is analysing replay frames to see if he meant it or not.
