I ended up taking my zoom lense and staying as far away as I could to avoid the paint. By the end though I still found paint dust on my camera so I'm glad that I didnt risk going closer.

Thats always been the thing when people bring up Nintendo going second or third party. People use Sega as an example of how it would go poorly but Sega did it as their last resort after everything went wrong. If Nintendo did it now in a financially stable place then they would absolutely have enough money to be a Valve or Naughty Dog who can pick and choose what they release and how long they take on it to make it as polished as possible. Who knows how the NX will do for Nintendo though, maybe it really will be a massive success (personally I doubt it). Im always of two minds when it comes to this kind of stuff. On a personal level I would prefer Nintendo to go second or third party as I have no interest in buying their hardware anymore but there are the occasional games I want to play. On a games industry level though competition is always better so even if I dont want Nintendo's hardware, it at least keeps the other companies constantly working towards something better. We dont want complacency.

Got a preference then? I started off absolutely loving Buffy but in the end Angel was probably my favourite show.

Took a load of photos today at the colour run the school I work at put on. The majority of them I cant post because they have the kids in them but these were two I liked.

I'm still trying to decide if later this year when I've finally got enough money aside if I want to try and get a mortgage on a house or just rent somewhere. Getting my own house makes more sense but I the hassle just sounds like a nightmare and also for someone who was unemployed for as long as I was, I have quite a hard time believing that I'll have enough money coming in or even a job in a few years to cover it all.

Thats basically Playstation Now at the moment and while that is actually quite a good service, the technology is still way too early to base an entire system around it. Plus Internet speeds just arent where they would need to be for everyone to get games running steadily. I certainly cant use Playstation Now at the moment.

Right guys I need some opinions. I'm trying out some glasses at work. They are just anti-glare ones so are not actually needed all that often. Now should I stick with them?

I expect this will be the first Call of Duty game I've bought in a couple of years (as long as it ends up looking good of course). I really enjoyed 4 so thats a nice incentive but I'm also just finally back in the mood to play a Call of Duty game again. I think the last one I played was Modern Warfare 3.

I was going to say, if anything couch co-op games have gone through a boom in the last couple of years. Mostly on PC but a lot of those have been coming over to the consoles as well.

I would definitely play an Animal Crossing game on my phone. I'll be interested to see what comes from this.

I used to go to the Milton Keynes Collectormanias with @Goafer until they moved to the MK stadium and it just wasn't as good and way too cramped. We are off to the Birmingham MCM this November though which I'm really looking forward to. I've only ever actually queued up to meet two celebs before, Jewel Staite and Summer Glau to get Firefly stuff signed but its always funny when you just bump into them as they're walking around the places. Had that happen with Ben Browder, Christopher Judge and Maggie Grace.

I'm still waiting for Capaldi to leave before I start watching again. This new companion isn't doing anything to draw me back though.
