Finished season 2 of Prodigy and people weren't wrong, its very good. Really hope a third season happens somehow. Highly recommend people watch this.

Yeah I'm a lot more interested in Deadpool & Wolverine. I'll see what I feel like doing when that comes out. I just don't really go to the cinema anymore. Think I've been twice since covid.

I should try again with the series at some point. It was another one of those games which was perfect to just sit at the PC playing while listening to podcasts and I miss that.

I've still enjoyed most of the movies we've had recently but on a much more basic level than I was before and I don't necessarily go out of my way to make sure I see them as soon as I can. I'll see this when it comes to Disney Plus but it was a poor trailer, only really saved by one moment.

I've played Football Manager games still over the years but I think it was around 2012 that they made changes to make it more in depth that apparently my brain just couldn't handle and I've struggled with them ever since 😆

Its scary that he is the only thing potentially stopping Trump getting back in. He needs to drop out and let someone else be the candidate. Hopefully someone will just convince him he already dropped out and he'll believe them.

They really did waste Texas Tornado. Should have done a lot more with him.

I do think we played better during that match compared to the rest of the tournament. We won't be beating Spain but it's nice to be in the final.

Needed a new Echo for a bedside table for a while as the light sensor seemed to be going on my Dot so the clock would be barely visible at times. Amazon announced the new Echo Spot yesterday so just had that delivered and it seems really good. Liking the touch screen so I can turn lights on and off if I don't fancy speaking during the night.

I think something has been announced with him in, can't remember what though.

I'm kind of happy about that. I know I like the character and that's enough for me without yet another trailer giving away too much. Just seems like a show about Agatha trying to get her powers back and getting a coven.

Been years since I read it but yeah, he had a big Avengers event in the late 70s called the Korvac Saga. I think some version may have come back in the 2000s bit he's definitely one of the few bad guys that had such a massive story that wasn't then constantly brought back afterwards.

Kind of tempted to try and get back into this. According to Steam i did about 7 hours when I first played it. Usually I would just stick with this original version to save money but it sounds like the Definitive version added a good amount of quality of life improvements that would probably make it worth buying again. Disappointing there's no upgrade option though instead of outright buying a second copy.

Have we all decided yet where we're going to meet up to watch England in the final?

The talk of differences between Nintendo versions and other console titles in the forum upgrades thread has made me want to play Aladdin on the Mega Drive again. Might have to setup the Mega SG after work and dig out the cart.

Quite like the idea of having pre-release threads separate, at least for bigger titles that might get more build up discussion. As you said when a game launches and a thread is already 10 pages in it doesn't necessarily invite the new conversation. I also think having a new thread appear for the launch of a game can help get that excitement for it going. I used to love getting into the discussions at the launch of games. Resetera isn't exactly a forum to emulate in many ways but I did always like how much effort they put into their game threads with the first posts having images, information and links etc.

We've said a few times that we'll use tags more when multiplatform games have gone in the Nintendo section and unfortunately it always seems to be hit and miss if they get added. I also don't think its a great idea anyway. I think threads need more visibility, not to be filtered for less.

Resubbed to Netflix to start watching Prodigy season 2 this week. Only 3 episodes in so far but it seems good again. Discussion around the web though seems to be that it's really great, top tier Star Trek so I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.
