Might have to go to that one

Oh shit, I've only just realised who Bob is in Thunderbolts. Never thought I'd see him in the mcu.

That's actually looking pretty good

Just watching Stevie Richards talk about which finishers were the most painful to take. Interesting watch.

One thing I wish they'd done after bringing them back at X7 was using Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan more again. Two of the best that ever worked in wrestling and I think there was still a place for them. Mean Gene ran circles around Michael Cole as a backstage interviewer and when he actually cared Heenan was better than Lawler as a heel commentator.

I thought it was OK while it was happening but its still the biggest missed opportunity in the history of wrestling due to the stars who couldn't be brought in while they were sitting out the remainder of their contracts. It could have been so much better if they hadn't had to pad the WCW and ECW rosters with WWF stars.

That's the credits rolling. Really enjoyed my time with that, as I said smiling throughout but it got some proper big laughs out of me as well. Hope we get a sequel!
-
There's not a lot to it but I've had a smile on my face the entire time I've been playing it.

Bought Thank Goodness You're Here this morning on Steam as it's on sale. Loving it so far, it's so British!

I tried Tokyo Mirage Sessions twice but unfortunately it never grabbed me. For me the Persona games are on another level to the other Atlus games. I'll agree that they probably are a bit too long for the stories they're telling but I've got to give them credit, I still always make it to the end which is more than I can say for a lot of long RPGs, despite how much I'm enjoying them.

Never bought a single Pokémon card. I think it must have just passed my friend group by despite us all playing loads of the original Pokémon games. I'll need to ask Goafer, see if he remembers any of us with them.

Looks uncomfortable

Last of the September purchases then other than the X-Men X-Tinction Agenda omnibus it should be relatively quiet for the rest of the year.

The Plucky Squire - Switch, PS5, Series S/X, PC
Happenstance replied to Glen-i's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I might wait a bit before I get this, let them get some patches out first. Kind of been tempted by Satisfactory on Steam so I might get that instead. -
They're fine to use, I've had 3 with no issues but they can be damaged by things like thumbnails. You'd never be able to have anything else in your pocket with it.
-
To be fair you are right in that it hadn't occurred to me that the front is also the flexible screen instead of traditional like current foldables but that would just make me even more worried. I would never trust that kind of screen exposed in my pocket.
-
I didn't care about it originally, thinking I was happy with the one fold my current phone has until I saw it being used and realised how much I would like a tablet on the go. Only issue at the moment is that with how the folds work, when its closed one of the edges is just the exposed folded screen so there's no way that won't keep getting damaged.

It'll depend on how much power they put into it I guess. I haven't kept up with any hardware rumours so I don't know if they're aiming more towards PC handhelds or mobile chips. That is the good thing I guess, they can kind of go either way and would get quite good results. It also depends what Nintendo gamers want. If they want competition or even just more regular ports then they might have to start accepting that it'll cost more.
-
First one in the last few generations that I won't be bothering with at launch, probably not at all. Completely fallen out of interest with Nintendo games and PC handhelds are easily covering the handheld side so there's just no reason for me to get one.

It's nice to see the foldable market is still being pushed forward this year, although not necessarily by the bigger worldwide companies. Samsung and Google's latest offering are still good (I currently have the new Fold 6) but they aren't really putting much effort into innovating on what's already there. It seems to be the sother brands that are working hard there with phones like the Honor Magic v3 being pretty much as thin as the USB C port now or the crazy new tri-fold phone from Huawei that's now up for preorder. I've got to admit, if Honor's software and cameras were a bit better I probably would have gone with them over Samsung and my Fold 6. I was definitely getting bored of slab phone after slab phone coming year after year so it's nice to see the fun in design coming back a bit. Honor: Huawei:

I do like the design of the Pro

I'd actually be interested to see physical vs digital purchases these days as I would think physical would be pretty low in comparison. I think its only really a few NE folks left 😜

That's the issue with all our consoles getting more powerful and PC-like. It costs money to build these machines and I can't necessarily dispute its worth that price, especially given what I pay for my gaming PC but I still wouldn't be able to bring myself to pay that much on a console.
