Ordered myself a Playstation Portal. I got my internet and routers upgraded recently and since then I've been messing with PS5 remote play on my old retro handheld and really enjoying it now that streaming is pretty much lag free. That handheld though is just a 6 inch device so I wanted something something with a bigger screen to play on.

Started messing with PS5 Remote Play now I've had my internet and routers upgraded. Interesting that the 3rd party remote play apps seem to work much better than the official one. Looking forward to my Odin 2 Portal handheld arriving so I can use it with a nice sized device.

Yeah that's mostly in line with what I've been hearing. The movie is fine but not great and just kind of plays it safe.

The Sonic hardcovers are pretty good. Worth a read if you are a Sonic fan.

Seems only fair my Snes collection gets some love as well. Only other game I forgot to add to the photo was NBA Jam as it was in the console.

As I setup the Mega SG again this morning I decided to rearrange my Mega Drive drawer so I can actually see the boxes when trying to pick out something to play

Getting the urge to get back to my retro collection again. Spent all night browsing eBay staring at Mega Drive game auctions.

I hope we get to see the Council of Reeds in a future movie. It would be great to bring back the past versions.

Looks great but my only complaints at the moment are with the Thing. The voice doesn't work for me at all, needs to be more gravelly and then the CGI for his face movements and talking just feels a bit noticeably CGI but hopefully that'll be better for the final release.

Nice, I really like my Scribe. That's what I read on at home then I have a Paperwhite that I leave in my bag for when I go out.

Good chat with Jeff Gerstmann and Adam Boyes which is worth listening to if you have the time. I don't watch a lot of Jeff's stuff anymore since he split off on his own as I think he works better with someone to play off so it was nice to see him chatting with Adam again who used to appear on Giant Bomb all the time and it's interesting to hear Adam's views on the industry given how many places he's worked and with his new consulting company that if it takes off, sounds like it could be pretty good for gaming.

Finally got around to buying the game, went with the Android version. Only done a bit so far but it seems fun. Should be a good new game to play while I'm also watching TV.

Just got the email to say I didn't get into the Switch experience event in London. Anyone else manage to?

At my old one they filled in forms and had to agree to it if we ever used any photos and no names or tagging. Only a few ever opted out.

I think quite a few schools still use Facebook as their main social media site, I know the one I worked at did. I work at the moment managing the social media for the early years childcare department in a council and despite the usual talk of Facebook being for millennials like myself, we still get the most traction from it with younger parents.

I've shifted mainly to Threads but do have a Blue sky account. Might switch again more to Blue Sky given Meta's changes lately.

The amount of moves that could easily be sythes cutting grass in their games I think it would be easier than you think for them to make. We may even see them do the next Farming Sim game, who knows.

Looks like one I'll be interested in playing. Don't think I've played Ninja Garden since the original Xbox and if I remember right I was pretty terrible at it.

Finally got around to watching the rest of The Three Body Problem after in watched the first episode a while ago then switched to the book. I enjoyed it for the most part. Probably prefer the book overall but they did a good job adapting the story and the new characters they created for this version seemed to work pretty well. Need to get back to the other books now as I know this first season has already spoiled a couple of story points from the 2nd and 3rd books for me.
