I was really enjoying watching this and it almost convinced me to resub to Netflix to watch Raw tomorrow morning...then I saw Logan Paul and was immediately put off 😆 I may still resub but it's amazing what just seeing that prick's face for a split second does.

This year's AGDQ is just starting. It's been a few years since I watched it properly but I wouldn't mind watching some runs again. Here's the schedule https://gamesdonequick.com/schedule/52

One of my Legion Go "joy-cons" can be used as a vertical mouse with a little adaptor that comes with it for stability. From what I hear once you get used to it, it works well.

Reed Comics are good, they're my old weekly comic shop. They can be a bit expensive at times but they tend to get harder to find books back in stock so it's usually worth it

Best I can find so far is the HC of vol.1 https://www.reedcomics.com/injustice-ground-zero-volume-1-hardcover

Is this one you need? https://www.booksetc.co.uk/books/view/-9781779515568

I enjoy the first half of Resurrection, the second half not so much. The first Alien movie is still my favourite, much prefer the single threat. If I had to rank them it would probably go: Alien Aliens Alien 3 Alien Romulus (might have been higher but I find the fan service distracting to the point it started to ruin the movie for me) Prometheus Alien Resurrection Alien Covenant

Still need to get around to reading my Injustice omnibus'. I read a good amount of the singles as they were originally coming out. Alfred laying out Superman is still one of my favourite moments in comics 😆

Ignoring the 4 manga at the bottom which I couldn't be bothered to edit it out, this is everything I bought over Christmas in those digital sales 😆

I've never really managed to get too far into Age of Apocalypse. No fault of the comics, it just never seemed to happen. I own the big omnibus so maybe I'll get back to it soon. Currently reading some McFarlane Amazing Spider-Man at the moment though digitally so it'd have to be after that.

I was never a fan of Flashpoint, mainly because it led into my most hated era of DC.

Been reading some of these over Christmas and it's really reignited my love of comics. I was still buying certain omnibus' but hadn't read many of them lately. It's very tempting to buy a load (and when I say a load, I mean like £200 worth...) from the Kindle epic collection sale and build up that side of my collection again. One I would recommend people read is Superman: Up in the Sky. It's a modern book but not set in any particular continuity and is an excellent book, really getting to the heart of who Superman is and what he means to people.

Bought it again myself in the Steam sale, I never played much when I had it on Playstation for whatever reason so I started it again today.

I kinda like it, feels like an old school football match when stuff like this still went ahead.

Great job by Fulham to get that win over Chelsea and give Liverpool more of a comfort buffer at the top.

Bought some more with a Christmas voucher 😆 A lot of it just ended up being me wanting to have the DC events available to read easily so rebuying them. Superman: Up in the Sky JLA - Vol. 1-9 Zero Hour Crisis on Infinite Earths The Final Night Legends Invasion! Identity Crisis Final Crisis Blackest Night Flashpoint The Flash by Mark Waid - Books 1-8 The Flash by Grant Morrison & Mark Millar The Flash by Geoff Johns - Books 1-6 Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) - Vol. 1-3 Batman: The Dark Knight Saga

Should be an interesting one. I'll watch it when it comes to streaming. I refuse to go see Nolan's movies at the cinema as long as he refuses to learn how to mix sound.

Oddly enough that's what I've got open right now, I'm just re-reading the first arc and yeah it is really good, much better than the mainline Spider-Man books these days.
-
I've got it in tpb and really enjoyed it which is why I wanted to pick it up again. It's just a shame that it had so many delays and Geoff Johns was on the way out by the end as I really liked the ending and where it left the DCU, pretty much fixing the New 52 properly but by the time it finished they'd already started to take other books another direction so most of what Doomsday Clock did was forgotten.
-
I've read it once but because I've never liked Frank Quitely's art it was hard to get beyond that so I decided to give it another shot. Finished buying some more. I think this should do it for the moment. There were others I wanted like the Cassandra Cain Batgirl series but as I've been out of the loop for so long I need to find out what's a re-release and what isn't. Annoyingly a lot of these books seem to have stopped around 2018 even though there was more to go. Anyway I'll just list the rest instead of posting a shit load of images: Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka - Vol. 1-3 Aquaman by Peter David - Books 1 & 2 Kingdom Come DC: The New Frontier Supergirl by Peter David - Books 1-4 Doomsday Clock: The Complete Collection Batgirl: Stephanie Brown - Vol. 1 & 2

Ok maybe not as good for my wallet as I thought. I hadn't realised that it's not just Superman books that are about £1.50 each but all DC books. Too good of a deal not to take advantage of so I think I'll probably end up getting a lot more!
-
Trying to make an effort to get back into digital comics so I grabbed a few that are currently on sale. Obviously I was highly influenced by my Superman trailer hype but £1.50 each is a lot cheaper than £60 each for a physical omnibus 😆
