Carrying on with the Flash books, the next one just became available so I snapped it up. On a bit of a DC kick at moment, rearranged some of my shelves so I can get a few extra in today.

Last Ronin was a great book so I look forward to seeing what they do with it. Would have been awesome if they made it a sequel to the original live action movies.

I just can't understand why AEW decided to show the footage of CM Punk and Jack Perry. No matter what it showed it just makes Tony Khan look pretty and pathetic. We all know CM Punk is a dick and all the video did was show what we'd already been told. There was no big revelation that made him seem worse.

Been in the mood to read some more Flash lately so finally pulled the trigger on Manapul's omnibus. Love his art.

Got myself a new keyboard and mouse to go with the PC upgrade. Went with the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro for the mouse as I wanted something with the same ergo shape as my MX Master mouse but a bit better for gaming and then the Asus Azoth keyboard which is my first proper mechanical keyboard. For years I held off buying one, not liking the sound but I kind of love it already. I am going to have to get used a smaller keyboard again though. Might miss my numpad with Excel for work!

I've tried a few times but never managed to get too far. The story parts and characters look interesting but I couldnt get on with the older dungeon mechanics or first person view when going through them. I think I watched a video explaining the lore from them that continues into the newer titles though. Actually explains things like the blue butterfly that appears in all the games.

Yeah I think it started a trend of having links between the games. 5's is that you can see Rise posters around Tokyo.

I think my order for the Persona games would go 4, 5 then 3. The murder mystery aspect of 4 along with the characters just really struck a chord with me. Did you remember any of the links between 4 and 3 when you were playing this? Like how in 4 you visit Gekkoukan High, meet some of the teachers along with Chihiro and visit the night club.

Wanted something a bit more substantial to test with so decided to give Starfield another try. I didn't really put a lot of time into it the first attempt and on paper it should be a game that's right up my alley so we'll see how it goes. If anything it'll be a good stress test.

...and of course it didn't come with an exhaust fan. Time to get onto customer service and see if I can get them to send me a free one I can fit myself.

Just finished watching the first 2 eps of the new season of Discovery. I'm sure it's fine and people will enjoy it but I just can't bring myself to care anymore.

Ryzen 5 7600x (was tempted to go with a Ryzen 7 but as this will be mostly for gaming and no CPU intensive work I decided to save some money) RTX 4070 ti Super 32gb ram Corsair iCUE H100x Elite (first time trying an aio) Fractal Design Focus 2 (this was one of the reasons I went with this pre build as it had a rear exhaust fan and the other didn't)

Been itching to do some upgrades to my PC after getting back into using it and after tallying up what needs swapping out along with GPU prices it made more sense to just order myself a new prebuild then sell off my old system part by part to make some of the money back. Got the new desktop arriving tomorrow with an RTX 4070 ti Super in it which should be a nice upgrade over my 3060 ti.

I've got it on pc. Didn't get a chance to get too far into it though as it was hard to read the text on my ROG Ally and I wasn't back desktop gaming at that point. From what I did play though it had a lot of charm. -
Think I was the complete opposite, thought it was a terrible movie and am very glad this era of DC is now over.

I've been playing Eternights which is a Persona "inspired" game. Probably should have just carried on with P3R but the 10-15 hour estimate for Eternights was a plus as I fancied a quicker game. It's very basic Persona and the combat can get annoying but it's fun enough.

I think it does take a bit longer than 4 and 5. It's generally thought of as the best story of the 3 but it's a slower start, taking quite a while to setup the mystery of the dark hour.

I made most of my money working jobs in the evenings. The coffee place on certain nights when it's busier is a good one.

Yeah you'd get a warning part way through the dungeon floor that your characters were starting to get tired. There still seem to be aspects of it left over, when you talk to Mitsuru you can check everyone's status and it used to tell you that some characters were still recovering. They removed it in Persona 3 Portable but I was worried they'd bring it back to make the game more like the original.

I think it's pretty good for matching character levels. As with most Persona games I will do all I can do on the first day or two in the dungeon then spend the rest of the time before the next big story beat to work on the social links. I'm just glad the tiredness mechanic forcing you to leave the dungeon isn't around anymore from the original P3.
