    I do wonder if people are going to be a bit more hesitant to use him after Black Adam. I don't think he'll struggle for roles but his reaction to that movie doing crap, blaming everything but the movie itself must have left a bad taste in mouths. It certainly made me see him in a new light and I used to love The Rock.

    Saw Dune 2 yesterday. Impressive movie but I'm not sure how much I actually liked it. Dragged a lot.

    Concert tour for this has just been announced, September for London. Think I might have to go again. Remake's was great.

    I'd forgotten about that one actually. Had it on my wishlist for ages hoping it would get a 99p sale on kindle. Might get it when I'm done with these Titan books.

    All this wrestling gaming and ppv watching has put me in the mood for a new wrasslin book. I was originally gonna get Bobby Heenan's book but it doesn't seem to have had an ebook release and physical copies seem a bit expensive so I went with the Titan series (Titan Sinking, Titan Shattered and Titan Screwed) which cover between 95 and 98 in the WWF.

    Got me in the mood for later attitude era stuff (my plan to go through in order hasn't gone that well 😆). Think I might rewatch OSW's Wrestlemania X7 review.

    That's a great example of the wrestlers being able to shift a match on the fly, especially the Rock (I think even Hogan tells this story) where they realise the crowd are cheering more for Hogan so the Rock effortlessly starts working more heel behaviour in.

    Sting's retirement match last night as well. Crazy career and longevity.

    Hebner was with him getting fired for selling merch separately from his car. I'm assuming Mean Gene and Finkel are license rights issues with both guys having passed away.

    I know it's been said time and time again but I really hate the amount of blurring on old WWF stuff. Tried out Showcase mode this morning on WWE 2K24 and along with any mention of WWF on belts and turnbuckles etc (which I thought the requirement for ended years ago after a deal was made with fake WWF?) but we've now also got Howard Finkel and Mean Gene blurred (Hebner I get). It's so distracting.

    Should be last purchase until May now for new releases. Really glad to finally have the Clone Saga/Ben Reilly books finished.

    Subscribed and started the rewatch. Was originally gonna begin with Summerslam 97 then work forward from there but decided to throw in Wrestlemania 13 first for Bret Hart Vs Austin.

    Well as usual I had no interest in buying the new WWE game and now it's coming up to release date I'll probably end up pre ordering it. I'm so weak 😆

    Been watching a few old wrestling clips on YouTube this evening and it's got me full of nostalgia. Kind of tempted to sub to the Network for a bit and rewatch the attitude era in it's entirety.

    Great win. So happy that we now have one trophy in the bag for Klopp's final season.

    I expect I'll get round to watching season 5 eventually but like with season 4, I'm not in any rush to see it.

    Volume 2 omnibus of Ultimate X-Men. Been ages since I've read this run. Trying to save a bit of money at the moment so I've gone back to reading some books digitally. I'll still buy physical omnibus' but it's going to be more limited now to my favourite runs or things like Spider-man & X-Men where I'd like to try and get full runs. Got to admit, it has been quite nice this week being able to read whenever I feel like it instead of having to prepare a space for one of my massive books.

    Was really lucky and managed to spot a random restock of Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol.1 which is out of print at the moment so that’s another one for the collection.

    I'd love to see them continue 90s Spider-Man next. I loved that more than X-Men. Great show.

    Oh the nostalgia is definitely there. I just wish it didn't look like it had been animated in Flash.

    My Kindle Scribe has been playing up lately so I needed a new e-reader/note taker. Decided to try finally going outside the Amazon ecosystem and try the Onyx Boox Note 3C. I'm interested to see how well the colours work on it. I know they're much more muted but it'll be nice to have for comics I don't necessarily need in the best format as I'd probably get them as omnibus anyway.

    I was originally going to skip this despite liking Chip Zdarsky's writing but I think it was because I'd read the excellent Life Story quite recently and didn't feel the need to buy it again. Decided I wanted it after all for the rest of his stories and basically the end (for now anyway) of Spectacular Spider-Man.

    Thinking about picking up the Vinland Saga manga now that the deluxe editions are starting to come out. Anyone read it?
