America is the land of the stupid, you can tell people flat out that they are wrong and it doesn't matter about what most of them will argue with you. I remember a thread on GT where some guy would not admit that his use of "your" instead of "you're" (which would have been correct) was wrong he went so far as to say using either word in the context is correct. And he writes College level papers >_>

    That is the Shit. Even when The Slip was released as free you still needed to give an Email to confirm you're a real person. You can do it as many times as needed though. I wonder how exactly they'll go about this though, The Slip was released in MP3 (perfect for most) but also lossless and WAVE for audiophiles. In other news, this thread needs more Steve Vai playing with the Holland Metropole Orchestra.

    Still living at home=Me keeping my mouth shut when parents say stupid shit. Also, any city in Michigan feels like you're in the middle of no where, the best thing about MI is it's close proximity to Lakes and Canada. Also, Toledo isn't too bad except it's in Ohio, and Ohio people don't know how to drive...at all.

    Is that a zombie apocalypse? 1. They're ignorant. 2. Pretty much correct unless their is a free clinic around. Spot-on people believe these things, I've heard my mom say multiple times that Obama is the Anti-Christ, Not an American (only when he wasn't producing a birth certificate), and a Socialist. Obama is safe for 4 years unless the masses of ignorant citizens are enough to influence Congress and the Senate, at which point they could try to impeach him for something. As to the original topic, I'm not entirely surprised creationism/evolution is quite the topic here, and unfortunately the most insane people are the ones who make themselves heard. Just look at user videos on youtube, or even better there is one particular guy who said on national television that a bananananana fits perfectly in a human hand ergo god (or a wizard) did it. I'll just try and find the movie off of amazon from Canada or something then.

    You don't need a special GPU, just the monitor and glasses. Possibly it may have to be an Nvidia GPU, but I don't think so, still not a special one.

    Depends on the game. Call of Duty might leave bodies intact, but Fallout 3 and Solider of Fortune do not, and I'm sure there are others.

    1080p Not large enough? Try Eyefinity! Play the latest games at a whopping 7680x3600! Seriously though, if you've got money to burn, six 30" Dell Monitors at 2560x1600 each and a single ATI GPU(as of yet unreleased, but will be shortly) and you can play Dead Space like that. Now I'll quit babbling like a moron and leave that to the professionals, with pictures too. Sauce I'm not done yet. While Dirt 2 and Cry-Engine 3 may not be 7680x3200 they are still 7680x1600 which is damn impressive for a single GPU. The theory goes that this GPU is of the R870 line of "Evergreen" Cards that is about to be released within the next few months.

    Yea, it'd be a little insane to try and work two graphics engines into one game just for different sections of the game.

    Gamestop does the same stupid crap with stickers, except every once in a while they get stupider and will put the sticker beneath the plastic on the paper cover!
