What Moogle said, also... Most of that is likely cheaper on Scan.co.uk (I know the Mobo is). Your Mobo is DDR2 not DDR3, which is the RAM chosen. This is suitable though. Also, since I'm slightly dumb at times, the motherboard I selected from Scan is still pre-order only. Making Ebuyer cheaper in that regard.

Now that I have a price point I'll throw something else together that's a bit more complete later when I have the time. Moogle, the only thing odd about what you choose would be the DDR3 RAM. Which isn't a bad thing, it just adds an extra step of sifting through mainly DDR2 boards trying to find one that does DDR3.

Case w/ PSU 160GB Western Digital HD 2GB Corsair DDR3 AMD Athlon II X2 240 socket AM3 MSI 785G That will get you started at a decent price. The AM3 CPU's are excellent for their price (Intel would be more expensive), the motherboard has built-in graphics, which are nothing special (likely the same or a teensy bit better than your laptop), but it allow you to wait for more money to get a GPU. It's also DDR3 which is the way memory is going so no point in getting stuck with DDR2 and needing to upgrade later. The case is a nice little case that will likely serve you well (unless you want something like the 5870 which is nearly 30cm long) it also comes with a Power Supply. You don't need a highly rated power supply, but you do need a reputable one. So, when the time comes for getting a GPU, a new power supply would be needed as well, but this one will get you started. The RAM and HDD are nothing special, just somewhere to start. I didn't factor in things like Keyboard/Mouse and the OS. Currently it is still possible to get Windows 7 RC for free, otherwise you'd need to buy a new copy or figure something out. Also, a monitor. Finally you'll probably notice that the Case/PSU and HDD come from ebuyer while the rest are Scan. Scan is cheaper except for the HDD (unless you want Maxtor instead of Western Digital) and their Case selection didn't have low priced cases w/ PSUs and it would be more to get them separately. Edit: I'm stupid, I forgot the CD/DVD drive. There you go. All of it approx. 211

Well, I disagree outside of Audio, Graphics, and Length, and audio is for technical advancements as it certainly made me jump more than Bioshock.
-
While I like both, Origins rocks purely from the awesomeness that is to be found in Guillo. Almost as made of win as Minsc and Boo(somebody better get that or I disown you all).
-
Well, you're doing it wrong you aren't suppose to stand around for cutscenes. You're supposed to be running around hitting things with your Wrench or Crowbar or whathaveyou. Also, Bioshock is a lot less good if you've ever played System Shock 2. Since it is just a rehash.

Haha, Mundi those vids are pretty entertaining.

He was just making abit of a joke. Hence his . To make sense out of it though, think of like, Gears of War then Gears of War 2, GoW2 is a direct sequel, his joke was people starting with FFVII didn't realize that VIII would have nothing to do with VII therefore disliked it. You and I both took his bait, I just took it knowing he was joking.
-
Riiiiight. Funny since VIII was a disappointment despite me starting with VI, and Killer Kirby will likely concur (other than perhaps what game he started on).

If you take your time and play like it's Rainbow Six, Legendary is pretty simple on solo...of course it's a bit boring then. And if Fire Fight can prove anything it's that Normal can still be challenging with Skulls let alone Legendary.

The fuck does that have to do with what he said?

A few things about 1&2, you've played them past their prime which may be a factor, and they've always been better in co-op in case you didn't do co-op/

Halo 2, it just wasn't the same... FFVIII-XII(and likely XIII) excluding most of IX, basically clichéd soap operas. Stalker Clear Sky, some bad design choices bad it worse than the first. Gears of War 2, don't even get me started, I can write paragraphs and paragraphs of things that annoy me about this game. Mostly Story/Presentation to narrow it down though.
-
Depends. In Uncharted I agree, but in a campy game like Saints Row it would make sense.

The Witcher puts everything else to shame. It is a year later GotY edition, but instead of game+manual it's All of this. (linked since the image is kinda big). For the same price as normal. Note, the making of DVD is more than 3 hours long, also note that US doesn't get a printed game manual but EU does.

I loaded up on easy just to wander the city and find them. I found 26 of them then last night decided to seek outside help. Sadly you're missing so much if you've only found 10 of them...

Does anyone else prefer Sadie's story to the main plot of the game? I find the integration of her story and the way it was written very well done.

Youtube type services that offer more than 10 mins of video?!
Nolan replied to flameboy's topic in General Chit Chat
You can also try Vimeo, it's what SA users use for Lets Plays. And if you truly want Maximum Exposure, split it up for youtube, and put links to the other parts and the other sites hosting the video in full. -
Firefight solo+Blind Eye+Spawn Camping Brute Chieftains with Hammers and invincibility= 6 Lives down to 1 life after enduring 4 previous waves of the last round of the set. Went into set 2 with 2 lives after botching the bonus.

I hoped to find one for Forza but couldn't. The same guy did one for Enthusia and shows that it's much closer to real than GT4.
-
You're right, it does do handling quite well. And I do know quite fine in the races myself, making time at corners (and straightaways) I generally only race the RWD and AWD too. The first thing I did when I got the Wings West Civic was swapped the power train for the S2000 RWD power train. A class car up against C's.... The best I example I can really come up with is It's GT4 though, but skip to 1:10, and right at the point where he tries to correct via steering he spins out the other direction. That happens more often than it should, just minus the spin 180 part. Usually it jerks into a wall or about a 90. Ahh well, it just seems better in Forza 3 is the point.
-
Just like a real car eh? Have you driven a RWD vehicle, then applied enough force to break the rear end loose cause you to slide? I do it nearly daily on gravel. When going to correct the tires don't grab right away and when they do grab it isn't a sudden a grab that pulls me off course like what happens 90% of the time in Forza 2 and GT4.
