Are the fans ment to be running all the time? I can't hear the fans themselves but when i put my hand over the top vent i can feel air being blown out even when the console is off. I've got it set to instant on mode. Will they stop if i put it in power saving mode? or would that effect my background downloads?

So i've got it set up and downloading Froza Horizon 4 from Gamepass. I'm getting some wierd speeds. I'm getting anywhere from a few kbps to about 200mbps. Is this normal? and is there any way to turn this thing off while my stuff downloads in the background? I'm comming off a PS4 and i'm kinda used to stuff downloading while the machine is in standby.

It's done! after six long months I can finally rest! Picked up an Xbox Series X from Argos online just a moment ago.

Are you kidding? I had trouble opening up a PS1 controller last night. Was trying to fix an analogue stick that is permenantly stuck down. Couldn't do it, some wires were souldered from the controller board to the rumble mechanism so i couldn't pull the board all the way out, all i had was a screwdriver.

Hermes left my PSOne in my compost bin for over a week! I've only just found the damn thing. This is taped up pretty well so there doesn't seem to be much damage. Hermes can suck a dick. Never got a slip through my door or anything! Fucking thing was just sitting in there. Had to get the seller to give me the tracking number since they said it was delivered last Thursday. I put it in the tracker along with my postcode and the guy just flung it in my compost bin and took a picture. If it wasn't for that picture it would still be laying in there right now.

Already platinumed this on the PS4, might be nice to have it in a portable form though. I could do it all again on the toilet.

I've been looking for a way to read the old Archie Sonic comics. Also the old UK Sonic comics. I haven't really found a place to read them online. Looks like eBay and Amazon is the only way now.

My childhood was just dropped through the door this morning. Booted it up on the PS3 but the copy protection stops me from going past the title screen. I'll wait untill the PS One gets here and try it again.

So I bought a PS1 off of eBay last night. Mostly because I wanted to play Ape Escape again. There are alot of cheep PS1 joblots on there too so i might pick one or two of them up and start collecting for the PS1 again. Still looking for a decently priced Gameboy Player for the Gamecube with no luck.

Got this in yesterday, still haven't touched it. I remember getting the N64 pokemon snap for my either 11th or 10th birthday. Played the crap out of it. I'm not sure if i can relate to this game with all the new pokemon. The last pokemon game I seriously played to the end was gold. I've only dabbled in Platinum and Ruby. I'll fire it up after dinner and see how it is.

A Raspberry Pi 4 8Gb board. Been wanting to try and make a little emmulation machine. From what i've seen online it looks pretty easy.

Picked up Yoku's Island Express for about £2.50 in the sale. Nice little metroidvania / pinball adventure game. Pretty short though story wise. Almost finished the story after a day or so. Still have alot of collectables and stuff to get though.

I stopped reading One Piece around volume 70. Still waiting for that fouth manga box set to be released.

Thinking about dropping my attempts at getting a PS5 and switching to trying to get a Series X. Microsoft seem to be doing a better job at preserving older games and has a pretty extensive backwards compatible list that i can see. Mostly for the Forza Horizon games but wierdly also for Skate 3 which I haven't played in over a decade now. I had an Xbox One at a time but ended up selling it, kinda miss playing the master chief collection to be honnest the thing is I don't really want to pay for two seperate online services when i'm already paying for PS Plus however Game Pass does look tempting to me.

Rolled my ankle while i was running yesterday and now its pretty badly brused. Gonna lay off for a while untill i can run without limping like an idiot. Will probably try again around Monday or so.

I haven't touched this game since January, mostly because i'm waiting to get my hands on a PS5 which isn't happening anytime soon. By the looks of things they atleast are trying to fix it, i'll try playing it later in the year.

Might think about upgrading my Sony Xperia XZ later this year. I dropped the iPhone since i hated doing everything through Apple. Couldn't even transfer my photos to the PC without doing it all through iTunes. With an xperia I can just connect it to the PC and it transfers without the hassle. The Xperia 5 II looks nice at £799 but the Xperia 1 II is over £1000 and i'm just not prepaired to pay that ammount of money for a phone.
