Read it's Wii Motionplus+ only earlier, so Flingsmash is most defintley on my radar. That little device needs some loving, plus I haven't played an Arkanoid style game since the Game Boy days.

A Day 1 Hunter here too! Were the prices for the bundles revealed today? Also, ShopTo.net DO honour pre-order prices now, so get your pre-order in for only £22.95 Kudos to Captain Falcon for the find!

Yahoo! Can't wait. Now I know when I have to replay Galaxy by ....and incase anyone hasn't pre-ordered yet, the cheapest place to do so is Gameplay at £29.99. Order it now, incase of a 'New Super Mario Bros' style £5 hike in price everywhere.

My guess : June/July release for Galaxy 2 confirmed and a 40 second Zelda Wii teaser trailer with 'Winterl 2010' shown at the end. If something 'new' is shown I suspect it will be a WTF/obscure budget title similar to Link's Crossbow Training or Wii Chess.

I used to play Mario Kart Wii with the GC controller, but my analogue stick went a bit funny, so changed to the Wii remote and nunchunk combo, and there's really been no change in my MK racing and it's still comfortable to play this way. Could it be possible that only first party or exclusive games are allowed to use Gamecube controller support? SEGA have given us DLC on the Wii before in Samba de Amigo, so t's possible, but I doubt it seeing as racetracks will take more Memory and as the boxart doesn't have the Pay & Play logo.

Pre-order for £17.73 at TheHut Hard to resist at that price. Btw, does anyone know if the game has Wii remote + nunchunk or/and Gamecube controller support? I don't wanna be using the Wii remote to steer...

The factsheet was revealed yesterday (see below). You may be right about Wii Speak control, but it could just be the way it's worded in the statement. If there was online chat wouldn't they have mentioned that in the Nintendo Wi-Fi point, instead of the new way's to play point?

I cancelled my Amazon pre-order. Got enough games to get through for the time being, plus it's allready been reduced to £17 at a lot of retailers, so won't be long before it's under £10. I'm loving this trend with SEGA games, I just hope it doesn't end with All Star Racer which will probably be a success.
-
Bah, it seems the pre-order pack will be a Play.com exclusive, unless they've got their info wrong that is. I was hoping for a Conduit style 'special edition' for all retailers, mainly cause' I have the Motionplus+ bundle pre-ordered at Amazon for £29.

Finished this today and I really enjoyed it. Managed to do the first two worlds in around two hours a few Sundays back, while I spent the majority of yesterday and today with worlds three and four, so the difficulty does go up. There's not a lot of traditional platforming to do, but the puzzles you have to solve to progess are really clever. Controls worked a treat and I only had a bit of a problem controling the rocket blob. Overall it's a simple but enjoyable laid back gaming experience that all core Wii gamers should play. A Kirby or Donkey Kong 2D platformer next please! That's where I finished on the Sunday. He was very frustrating, and when I tried to beat him by 'cheating' I managed to do it the honest way. The third and final bosses were my favourite. I thought that introduction was a compilation of all the cut scenes we'd be seing throughout the game, so you can guess my disappointment there. Same thing happened with Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.

I love that Mario's Wardrobe design! Thanks or should I say 'Damn you' for the link, as I'm tempted to spend some money now on clothes I don't need, but £19 isn't too bad

Tetris Party Deluxe is coming. Suprised it's taken this long to see casual friendly Tetris arrive on Wii, in actual physical form of course! I thought this did pretty well on WiiWare, but I'm guessing there is still a large % of the Wii market who are unaware of the service.Wonder how much extra features this will have compared to the WiiWare version. Doubt there will be much change in the single player area, but online was very limited in the WiiWare version, but Wii Speak support is great news, and should mean that we'll be seeing 4 player action. If you've allready got the WiiWare version will you be buying?

Started this on Tuesday, and I'm pleased to say it's a pretty decent game. Always been curious to play this after spotting it in the 'new releases' section on Play.com last year, and after youtubing some footage afterwards I made a mental note to pick it up someday when reduced in price. As stallion mentions above it's a Gears of War style 3rd person shooter, where you control one of the ugliest video game characters ever who's a bit like a character from 'Avatar' through several diffrent enviroments which involve plenty of action, but there's the odd 'stealth' and 'on rails' section. The controls work well and as you'd expect. Sniping enemies with the Wii remote is very satisfying, but the controls for using the grenades are a real pain. A slight flick or twist of the Nunchunk while your busy shooting or running will make you throw your grenade(s) somewhere, which more often that not, means that your wasting your stock or you loose valuable health, and then when you actually want to use one it rarely lets you go into grenade mode. Agh! Otherwise it's a lot of fun to play, and your allies, who are microchips attatched to your helmet and gun, provide some entertaining comments. Finished it today, after a good 10/11 hours play according to my Wii diary and I may play it again on 'Massacre' difficulty someday. A worthy purchase if your looking for a decent shooter or 3rd person action/adventurer for your Wii.

Probably not, but I suppose we'll find out once the prices for the bundles have been revealed. ShopTo are known to raise pre-order prices a few weeks before release though, and have no pre-order price guarantee like Amazon, GAME etc. However they do take payment via PayPal nowadays, which is taken out of your account straight away unlike a Credit or Debit Card which is taken out a few days before dispatch, so that could mean that the total you pay is the PayPal amount, regardless of any future changes in price? I havent pre-ordered from ShopTo in a while so I'm not 100% sure

I've updated the first post with a list of games I had a feeling would be quite rare and some of your recommendations. Are there any obvious one's I've missed out?

Up Described this as 1 half amazing Pixar, and 1 half average Dreamworks when I first saw it, but I was wrong, it's 100% Pixar Gold. Everything about this film is just beautiful. Paradise Falls/10 Zulu Can't belive it's taken me so long to see this classic. T'was amazing. Great characters, action, dialogue, direction, and performances. Stanley Baker should be getting his name tied with Zulu more so in the public's eye than Michael Caine also. 9/10 Gangs of New York Terrific beginning, great middle but the ending was lacking. Many excellent moments throughout, but I didn't enjoy it that much. 6/10 Frost/Nixon A well performed and intresting film, but I was expecting a bit more 'suspense' and I still think Michael Sheen has a boring face. 7/10
