  1. After playing The Beatles: Rock Band, I'm defintley intrested in trying a standard Rock Band game, but I'm gonna wait a while as the downloadable Beatles songs will keep me going once they're released.
  2. Excellent - wonder if it'll be friend code only or for all. Seem's we're getting more modes than World at War too - domination, sabotage, headquaters and search & destroy. One of them is a Capture the Flag type game I presume?
  3. £14.99 at Play.com now!
  4. Philadelphia Fantastic Tom Hanks film about a man who's fired after his employers discover he has AIDS. Very hard to watch some of the scenes where Hank's character was suffering and changing, and the ending did make me weep. 8/10 Inglorious Bastards (1970's) The beginning and middle were dire, but the ending where the 'Bastards' carry out their mission on the train was great viewing. 5/10
  5. I did! It wouldn't let me join any of them :( Re-tried many times and reset the Wii.

  6. Yeah sure - see you in under 10 mins.

  7. I went to GAME on Friday with some Wii and DS games that I had planned on traiding in against a PS3 or 360 but couldnt decide on a console and I wasn't 100% sure if I even wanted a second console or not! I only have Okami and Little King's Story in my collection that I haven't played on a lot, and New Super Mario Bros Wii and Modern Warfare are the only games that intrest me this fall, but there is a strong DS line up to keep me entertained I suppose. I'll probably buy a HD console, but not until early next year maybe unless there's an outstanding deal in the Christmas sales. Hate these 'want HD gaming' fases I get!
  8. Was considering buying a 360 or PS3 today but I couldnt decide and thought I'd wait for some Christmas/January bundle bargains, so on the way home I picked up these two from ASDA :- £15 £22 A new book to read at work in-between calls :- Aero McFlurry - best McFlurry I've had since I first tasted the Oreo one in 07' One of my favouite films, but it's been ages since I've seen it as my idiot of a cousin borrowed it off me, and returned it to me without the bloody disk, and we rarely see her nowadays. That was around 4 years ago, so I'll be sure to pick this up soon.
  9. Agreed. GH3 impressed me when it first came out, while World Tour felt a bit stale, plus I wasn't very keen on the drums. With this, I'm getting the same feeling I got when playing GH3, times a hundred, as I love The Beatles. To those of you who have doubts, buy it! This game is so addictive. I always say to myself "Just One more song" but I always end up playing 20 or so! If you don't have any instruments, I think the cheapest option is to buy the GH3 set at HMV for £30 or buy the original Rock Band Band in a Box for £35 at Smyths toy stores or £55 at Tesco. Regarding downloadable content, can't wait for Rubber Soul, Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road. I wonder if we'll be seeing any of the older albums? I doubt it somehow, but bet we'll get a selection of songs from them if that's the case. Help, Yesterday, Penny Lane, Magical Mystery Tour and Two of Us for me please!
  10. Reservoir Dogs Great film and a fantastic debut for Tarantino, but it could of had done with more content, which is why it never satsifies me and is my least watched QT film. 7/10 Jackie Brown Generally regarded as QT's worst, but there's a good film to be found here, you just have to sit down and concentrate to fully appreciate it, and more than likely watch it twice. Bit of a weak finale though. 8/10 Kill Bill Vol1 + 2 The simplest QT film(s) in terms of story and the coolest looking, but there are some fancy moments that do drag, but they don't spoil my enjoyment. One of my favourite film(s). 9/10 The Big Lebowski A film that's on a lot of positive lists, but I have no idea why. pfft/10 Speed Racer Started off pretty good, but it got very boring soon afterwards. The kid with the monkey was funny though. 3/10
  11. Wales England Ireland I'd like to go to France someday.
  12. Go in drag as Lady Madonna.
  13. Just came across this on Play. Don't think it's been posted before.
  14. Pac Man shirt - one of the best quality £4.99 shirts I've purchased from Play.com, plus I think Red really suits me, so the amount of Red coloured shirts in my collection will be increasing. Link statue - wasn't planning on buying this - due to the high price - but after seeing it on display the other day I couldn't resist. Ark of the Covenant - another rare collectable for my Indiana Jones collection.
  15. Yahoo - I love it! Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but it seems that we'll be getting Goron and Zora Tunic Link next. There are small pics of em' on the left side of the First4Figures site. Not that exciting as it seems it will be the same figure but in a diffrent colour Ganondorf please!!
  16. Went to see Basterds for the second time today. Still got goosebumps and had a smile on my face throughout the showing, and it was fun noticing some of the little touches I hadn't seen the first time around. 10/10
  17. Never say never.... So I was doing some shopping today, and popped into an independent games shop, which had the Link figure on display, and OMG it look's fantastic in person. Very detailed, a nice size (you're getting you're money's worth unlike with the very thin Sheik statue) and the colours are spot on. None on sale though After arriving home, while browsing Play.com I thought I'd type Zelda in the search bar in the hope that it had 'returned', and it has. Naturally, I couldn't resist and have ordered one for myself for £66 thanks to a 5% voucher. Should be here Weds or Thurs Yay
  18. Bargains!! Boom Blox Bash Party £12.95 Zavvi Madworld £9.99 Zavvi House of the Dead Overkill £6.79 CD-Wow or £9.95 Zavvi
  19. Day one purchase and all DLC for me three! One thing that's great is that there's no PS2 version so the game should look the same as the 360 & PS3 versions. Has it been confirmed if there will be any online play or leaderboards btw?
  20. Rocky 2 - good follow up. Could of had been merged with the first to make a three hour epic and it would of still won an Oscar methinks. 9/10 Rocky 3 - entertaining. 7/10 Rocky 4 - too many montages and cheesy moments. 3/10 Rocky 5 - watchable but it's just a poor story. 4/10 Rocky Balboa - seen this one before and loved it, but I didn't like the way the figt was filmed - felt like I was watching Rocky not being Rocky in action. Excellent film to finish the series with. 8/10
  21. Congrats to all! Coolness is coming to my town baby!
  22. I'm looking for that David Bowie song right now!
  23. Inglorious Basterds Fan-fucking-tastic. I've been on a high since the film finished at 4:30 pm! Great story, beautifully shot, great soundtrack, engaging dialogue, superb tense and thrilling moments and just the right amount of humour. Fantastic acting by everyone, especially Christoph Walzt who should be getting an Oscar next year. One of the best cinema experiences I've ever had. 10/10
  24. Would mean it sold out. Both Forbidden Planet website's are still listing them, but this doesn't always mean that they have stock. I'd buy one, but £69.99 is a tad too expensive for my liking.
  25. Very nice. The face looks much better than it did in the Promotional shots.
