  1. Hope there some MotionPlus+ controls included aswell! I'd much prefer this method to using the Balance Board.
  2. Match.com? Bah... Plentyoffish ftw!
  3. When some dude casually walks up to a window and the fake Batman suddenly hits it!
  4. The Incredible Hulk I gather a lot of people didn't like 'Hulk' but I enjoyed it, so naturally I expected to enjoy this one too, but it was just so dull, felt pointless and none of the characters grabbed you so that you'd care for them. The only bits I liked were when Hulk put out a fire by slamming his hands together and the Avengers tease. 2/10 Before Potter, Yates directed a TV series here in the UK - State of Play - which comes highly recommended, unless you've seen it allready. Why does everyone mention this as good or as a shocker? It was obviously coming from miles away. THAT jump scene in the The Dark Knight - now there's one worth mentioning!
  5. I know it say's guranteed delivery for launch, but it's a very in demand game, so stock could be limited and it's not a site where people usually order pre-ordered games from is it? Don't want another case of, "My £17 Conduit isn't here, meh".
  6. If you're not in a rush for this, you can get it for £30.39 from Argos! Link to the HotUkDeals post on how to get this price.
  7. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince The beginning and middle were fantastic and well apdated, but the ending was not so good and very rushed. Jim Broadbent was fantastic as Slughorn, in which is probably the best performance in the series so far, but Radcliffe was very stiff, while Gambon, who I was hoping to be excellent due to the focus on his character in this film, looked rather bored. Some good comedy in this film aswell, especially from Ron's love intrest, Luna Lovegood and especially when Harry takes speed True. When McGonagall told Potter that he had to study Potions if he wanted to be an Auror, there were a lot of confused looks from the audience. And I thought everyone had read the books.. I think Chamber is my favourite Potter film. Sure it's cringeworthy at times and has a very cheesy ending, but everything else makes up for it.
  8. Is it just me or does anyone else think Prometheus sounds a lot like Curtis Manning from 24?
  9. £9.99 Argos - no Trauma Centre Second Opinion left though. Layer Cake and The Postman on DVD from ASDA for £2 each. Also went up to an ice-cream van today, as I had a pound coin burning a hole in my pocket, hoping to get a '99', but they were £1.50, so instead, I spent that pound on a Nestle Choc Ice which was not much bigger than a matchbox. What a rip-off!
  10. Very dark, almost like a Holocaust film at times! Bit of a rushed finale though and anti-climatix. We want the children so we can get high. Care to explain it a bit more? The finale's top set-piece - hiding in a shed? Guess this is the end of Torchwood then, unless Gwen recruits a new team before the birth of her child and works from home.
  11. ...and use that to buy World at War :awesome: I don't understand why a lot of people who craved an online FPS on the Wii passed up on that game.
  12. 'Meh' - that's how I'm finding it too. Single player feels very dated and isn't very good and it looks like I may finish it later on allready! I did purchase it for the online modes mainly though, but having spent many hours with the Wii version of Call of Duty World at War and Medal of Honor Heroes 2, I don't think I'll be spending much more than a weekend with this. I just haven't fallen in love with the online here, as much as I did with the other two, and don't get mcuh enjoyment playing it. Heck, Water Warfare is better! Maybe it's because I'm used to a WW2 setting though. We'll see if things get better, (and I hope they do!) but at the moment, it's disappointing.
  13. So that's what the school league tables are for. It all makes sense now! Excellent episode once again.
  14. If you order with Game, Gameplay or ShopTo by 5:00pm tomorrow, it should be with you Friday if you're desperate.
  15. Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story Enjoyable and watchable but not as many laughs as other recent comedies. Loved the songs and cameos, and John C Reilly is back on form after the awful Talladega Nights. Will have to get Step Brothers soon. 6.5/10 I watched this for the first time Saturday. Very funny and loads of OTT action. Just great. 8/10
  16. Cool - thanks for the heads up!
  17. If you mean if it's the Special Edition version or not, it is, as I don't belive there is a 'regular' edition, but there are no extra goodies, such as Play.com's speakers. Also, I've just noticed it's a bit cheaper - £17.73 - at TheHut.
  18. ONM review score - 94% + Fantastic MotionPlus controls + Great variety of sports + Plenty of replayability + Ace Pilotwings vibe - A few weak events
  19. So who'd like to pay £17.95 for The Conduit? Head over to Zavvi now!! Link And yes, I've ordered from them before and recived pre-orders on release date. I had it pre-ordered with Gameplay for £26.99 with a probable Wednesday/Thursday delivery, but I think I can sacrifice that for a tenner! Also, this could very well be a mis-price so get your order in quick. No excuses now!
  20. Taken Pretty damn good, mainly due to Liam Neeson being awesome. Would love to see him do something like this again. My only complaint is that the epilogue just didn't feel right. The mother and step-father did not seem grateful or bothered about what happened at the end. 9/10
  21. Disney's Tarzan Wasn't expecting much but it was fantastic, the only thing that annoyed me were Tarzan's comic friends who seemed a bit too 'hip' for this film. The music by Phil Collins worked very well, espeically during the opening, which I rewatched a few times after finishing the film. 8.5/10 The Hunchback of Notre Dame A 'grown up' Disney Animated Classic as there are rarely any humorous moments and there are some dark and adult themes touched upon, but it's a good un'. Not one I will rewatch in a hurry though, and the voice of Quasimodo doesn't suit him, but I guess if they made him sound like John Hurt as the Elephant Man, there wouldn't be as much singing. 6/10
  22. About 2 weeks ago I sat down and made myself play the single player mode of COD:WAW as I had hardly touched it due to the online side of things. It was pretty average, and nothing special, so I hope The Conduit has a better campaign. The most annoying thing was that you had about 10+ allies with you on every level helping you out, thus not leaving you with many enemies to take out. Good thing you're not in a squad in this game - if only WW2 shooters could do the same as MoH Frontline and send you on missions alone or with only 3 allies - not realistic maybe but it makes the game better! I'm also going to try and spend a few hours with the main game before heading online too. Also if there wasn't a PAL delay, we'd all be looking forward to the postman's visit tomorrow or Thursday right now
