The Hurt Locker Very disappointing. Where was the plot? This film was just a random series of events with some very unlikeable characters that you couldn't give a toss about. There was one good "event" where Ralph Finnes showed up, which involved a very tense sniper battle, but otherwise it was very poor and dull.

I assume it's something to do with him being a 'Britain’s Best Nintendo Gamer Finalist' last year. Free first party titles for the whole of 2010 or something? Jammy so and so

4.0 is a great action film, but it needed more swearing to be Die Hard. In the Loop Fucking hillarious. 7.5/10 Dances with Wolves A modern epic. Had no idea what to expect from this film, butI thoroughly enjoyed every moment. 9.5/10

Zodiac An intelligent thriller, well directed and acted, with a brilliant 60's/70's feel and look. No complaints about the first half of the film, it was perfect, but some of the scenes in the second half dragged on a bit, but I was still engrossed in the story. 8.5/10 Crossing Over A good cast, but this poor film was all about illegal immigration one minute, then a murder and a robbery, and finnaly immigration again. Too many stories to tell in a short time. Several shots of Alice Eve in the nude though 4/10 The Postman Regarded as one of Kevin Costner's worst, this is a film about a drifter in an apocalyptic world, who starts a war with a clan and brings hope to the normal people by posing as a postman. Occasionally goofy, and cringeworthy at times, but I enjoyed it. Reminded me that I need to get 'Waterworld' soon. 5/10

Plan on watching Oscar winner Dances with Wolves tonight in anticipation As long as Up gets Best Animated Film and Original Score, and Basterds gets Best Supporting Actor and Original Screenplay it'll be a good night. I've yet to see The Hurt Locker or Distrct 9, which are on my 'to buy' list, and I don't really care for Avatar, and seeing I've missed it at the cinema in 3D, I doubt I'll bother to watch it on DVD, but then if it does win some awards tonight, it'll probably have a much publicized cinema re-release Ohhh, In the Loop is on BBC2 tonight aswell!

... and then explored the toy aisles of ASDA and Tesco's, getting shifty looks from members of the public, and broke the self-service checkout, twice. T'was fun - coolness is as you'd expect, 'cept taller and he does the have the tendency to make one loose one's bearings when in his company. I got lost twice last night in my own terrority! Got my first parking ticket aswell, for having my back tire parked on the parking bay's line. WTF are traffic warden's doing out at 8:00pm?!

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Borrowed this off my cousin and didn't expect much as I hated the opening level, but I'm glad I stuck with it as it's a great game. The atmospheric western setting makes a nice change from WW2 or modern warzones, the story is pretty decent with the relationship between the brothers being highly entertaining and the standard shoot your way from A - B gameplay is very enjoyable thanks to some great missions and sceanarios. Could have done with a few more stealth and side missions, but I highly recommended this title. 8/10 John Woo presents Stanglehold A very short below average 3rd person shooter made fun thanks to the Tequila moves you can pull off. You'll never tire of diving through the air, then grabbing onto a chandelier, slowing down time, and bagging some headshots. Mindless fun. 5.5/10

Jet Force Gemini GBC - A Cancelled Project

Likewise - in N64 magazine with the Conker GBC game methinks. -
Pretty certain it means that the boxart will have a lenticular print, meaning it will have a 3D look and will change or move as it's viewed from a different angle.

True, it makes racing on some of the later tracks annoying as it's hard to see if there's an obstacle or corner coming up, especially if you're going at F-Zero-like speeds! I really like the 'Mega Horn', timing it right and knocking out several players is quite rewarding. You're right about weapons being weak as hitting someone with a rocket or boxing glove only seem to disable them for 2 seconds or so from the race, and then they become invisible for about 8 seconds meaning you can't knock them off course - not so good when you have someone in front of you! Having spent some more time with it, it is a fantastic single player game - the GPs are great fun and challenging and the Missions are just as great as the ones from Mario Kart DS, and there's a very generous amount of them to do. Unlike Mario Kart Wii, the online hasn't won me over, mainly because the lobby system is flawed, as I mentioned in my other post. Also, the tracks - the first 8 tracks are simple enough but very enjoyable, but apart from Lava Lair, Ocean Ruin and Monkey Target later on, there's 13 tracks that are very samey, boring, too long or uninspired, so I probably won't be coming back to it after I'm done with it, and might sell it to get some money for Picross 3D on Friday, but don't let that put you off! It's worthy of a look on whichever console you pick it up.

Got my copy this morning and it's fun. Completed two Grand Prix's and spent an hour or so online. Online play is great, however there's no Mario Kart Wii style points to collect, and only the host in the lobby can choose the settings for the race which is unfair (playing Whale Lagoon four times in a row get tedious!) but you can change your character inbetween races. Got first place in around 8 out of 10 games, and raced against 2 competitive player, Fabrice and SPULLL. : peace: It does support the Classic Controller. The Offical magazine was wrong
