  1. For some reason my Yahoo account hasn't been recieving many emails over the past week or so. I've sent it emails from my other accounts and it's worked, but I've ordered things from Amazon and not recieved confirmation/dispatch emails (I have checked that it's been dispatched). Perhaps it's just "automated" emails it's suddenly not recieving? Although one or two seem to appear each day, but I normally get a lot more.
  2. I didn't get a controller johnny from Tesco. How dare they. I've got a few DLC codes though, how do I put them in, or do I have to complete the game? Got some Waynetech I wanna throw in, as well as able to use some different skins? Wanna check out the original Batman one, the way this mask spikes at the sides looks like a grin. Started yesterday and stopped after the first stint in the Batmobile, wasn't bad. Glare on TV spoiled it a bit. One thing which pissed me off was lack of tutorial. I played the previous Arkham games on 360/PS3, and I've played many similar games since that with different schemes. So even a small refresher would've been nice.
  3. I failed that quest Had to meet someone at Falor (or something), which was apparently in Skellige, then whilst fapping around in the area I get into a cutscene and it tells me I've failed it.
  4. Only took 30 mins to download its shit for me. But I probably spent less playing it before giving up for the day.
  5. I quite like 8, rather than 7. IV is personal favourite though.
  6. I would actually say yes to that, if they have the monies and truly believe in their product they should fund it themselves and take the risk. I see Kickstarter as a place where people with ideas but lack the funds get kickstarted into a (hopefully) profitable career/project. I get what you're saying but with a company like Sony they could afford to take the hit if it bombs, they're not Tale of Tales.
  7. Not for me. Just got to Skellige and getting sidetracked. Although Roach is useless there. Too rocky and with so many trees you can't see if you're riding to the edge of a cliff.
  8. I don't think I'm gonna be able to complete Witcher to satisfaction before this comes out, not with the busy weekend I already have. Sheet.
  9. That's me!
  10. Was I the only person who saw the trailer and thought "...Meh."? Wasn't feeling anything special when watching it.
  11. Reminds me of the printers at work. Always jamming.
  12. Since the only Paper Mario game I've played is Super Paper Mario and finding it a giant crock of shit, this crossover is not inspiring me with much confidence.
  13. Gonna be gettings this.
  14. No British flags? You unpatriotic fuck
  15. Does someone follow Geralt with a fan? His hair is constantly flowing.
  16. Which is a plus for me since Uub was shit.
  17. A small arrow/similar with the distance countdown (basically what's on the minimap but more centralised) would hardly clutter it. To get rid of clutter they can get rid of that bullshit Wolf head in the top left corner. Pointless waste of space.
  18. The Open University thing cost about £450 I think (was awhile back) and I cannot remember for the life of me how long that took/exams etc, whereas the cILEX degree cost around £700 and I did it in about a year, I could've done it quicker but I wanted to retake my audio typing exam. With this course they send you all the materials and you go through them at your own pace, applying for the exams when you're ready. You just have to find someone to watch you.
  19. Did an Open University home course in an Introduction to Law, and this year finished my cILEX legal secretary certificate. All in the hopes of getting a better job. The experience is one of those things which for me was hit and miss. Sometimes I'd be feeling psyched about getting into the studies (which for the latter was pure practice exercises) and other times it felt like a "Urgh, I'm being forced to do this" attitude like what I felt at school. Wednesday was usually the day I'd set aside for a chunk of studying, with plans being a part of a unit a week, however this sometimes became smaller amounts due to not being bothered. So I made up the work during the week. I doubt this will happen in most other courses, but the "find your own examiner" concept I had to sort out was a bit of a ballache. I'm happy I passed and I have a qualification to show for it. But at the moment I'm not able to get a relevant job and I can feel the knowledge slipping away, as well as a growing sensation of being pissed off that I've wasted money on these things.
  20. Then you are wrong.
