HOW FUCKING MUCH?!
-
Yep, just sent them a quitting email saying that it's simply taking too much of my time. I'm wondering if I'm going to get a Skype conversation about how I can conserve my time/submit less reviews. But it's too much effort.
-
To me that sounds like a base game would be released in December and DLC expansions would be released (evolve) over time.

I'm not sure how my enthusiasm for doing volunteering games writing is going. I recently started writing for http://www.gamersftw.co.uk/ as a "news writer", normally I would take something from Gamespress and work with something out of that, like I do for Indie Haven. For GamersFTW however, Gamespress is too behind so I'm expected to check out neogaf, reddit and several Twitter accounts (and anywhere else) several times a day so I can get da scoop, get it on the website ASAP and then put it on N4G so it can approvals and make it on the front page which leads to views which leads to... something I guess. Indie Haven want at least one article a week which I manage fine. GamersFTW want at least five a week, complete with continuous pressure everyday that "views were slipping last week". All that ballache of an effort and I don't really get anything out of it. It's not that I thought it would be easy, but my work experience as a legal secretary was less monotonous and draining than this. I've been doing it for two days and I'm already bored, I haven't got the time to drop everything and check reddit/etc every couple of hours. I'm more of a review guy anyway.

So after hurting yourself rather extremely (or so you made it appear), and providing evidence of hardcore bullying he got "a warning"? Shows what lax policy your workplace has and you ability to bend over and take abuse before actually doing something about it. You ignored everyone here with their recommendation of legally taking things further to actually get shit done to make some sort of actual impression and improve your case and because of this, spoiler alert, things will go back to normal in this regard (complete with bullshit sob story/"justification" ["oh, I know I stabbed you in the foot with a stapler, but I'm so stressed so you gotta let me off"] which you will swallow) and the circle will be complete with you posting again in this topic regarding a similar issue which you will let slide once again. Simply put: I'm done. For a slap on the wrist, calling your bluff doesn't mean shit in your company.

I'm taking it all as a bit meh at the moment. The separate storylines (which will obviously merge together towards the end, even though some have already) are feeling tedious. William Hurt's moping around*, the woe-is-me-lovesick attitude of Leo, Jill Halfpenny doing fuck all - it needs to get its shit together tootsweet. *Especially when he tried guilt tripping the helpline before finding out he was talking to a synth, cringeworthy.

It's probably the best acting I've ever seen him do.

I still remember when he was a boy (in name)
EEVILMURRAY replied to Nolan's topic in General Chit Chat
No one bothered with mine But since I'm about taking the high ground, have a dancing gay* guy. *may not be gay. -
It's about a week or so old, but got this bad boy. I know the one on the right isn't as ball-shaped as the others, but the missus has a friend who can alter shizzle like this. Will probably just give each ball a thicker outline to compensate.

So we can't back things on Kickstarter?

You have to complete a certain amount of the Gotham's Most Wanted, it should tell you how many you have left.

Wise purchases!

I don't know why, but I'm imaging you making that model, taking a picture every time you added a new piece and turning it into a video... would take ages.

A curse on the anus of Arkham Knight. I think I'm activating Witcher Mode for scanning like I'm using Detective Mode and I end up using all my good consumables.

We had that shit last night. Luckily I was working nights so it didn't keep me up, but made for an entertaining break as we could see the flat roof slowly fill up with water, threatening to flood the generator (has happened before apparently) and every emergency exit start leaking.

I concur, constant attempts of validating the existence of the Batmobile, because travelling around Gotham consists of grappling as high as you can and mashing X for maximum gliding height.

Awww, when I saw this posted in the bought topic I had high hopes. But having being used to the non-pixel DBZ fighting games I have, this looks lazy. Plus "Over 20 playable characters" = Less than 30. The rest seemed to have been shoehorned in as bullshit assists. Very disappointed.

I think I've completed the game. Scarecrow is gone and forced to do more of the sidequests to activate Knightfall... Feels a little anticlimatic.

So that's a no on the taking legal action front then? Shame Don't just tell him. SHOW him. Show him the accident report you filed and the following text conversation. In fact, you shouldn't be waiting a week, that would only weaken your argument. Get that shit in now so the Regional is fired up to deliver some punishment upon his arrival. But I'm scared you'll do barely any of this

And this is why you're not going to take it any further. Because, no offence, I think you're a bit of a coward. Yes, you can blow up "in the heat of the moment", but you don't do anything in the long term, instead continuing on taking it until your next small outburst. This is just how you come across to me, I could be way off base, if so, apologies. Get your anus to some accident at work action and unleash the fever. They can't sack you for it. And even if they "find" another reason conveniently after, make them really prove it, otherwise you'll open a can of unfair dismissal. I had a similar dispute over pay at one of my old jobs at a pub. I wasn't getting paid minimum wage (this was about 8ish years ago). I told the landlord and he brushed me off, saying I was wrong. I went to the Citizens Advice Bureau and made sure I wasn't being ripped off and learning the next steps. I gave my boss a written warning that I was going to pursue this in accordance with *Act name*. Not long after I was pulled aside by landlord and given a bit of a rant - "Why did you involve the Government? We could've settled this in house", despite my previous telling them of the issue. Landlady had a separate whine at me later - I didn't care. A week or so later I had a tasty influx of backpay and things went back to normal. And this was technically their money, their profit. Assuming you can get some compensation, the money won't be your managers.

I'm on 95% so on da home straight! I considered myself awesome for managing to figure out who the Arkham Knight was.

Sounds like the Tesco way. In fact, since they "streamlined" the ladder I'm not sure how you go about career progression. You went from General Assistant, to Team Leader, then Department Manager. With Team Leaders gone, going straight to Department Manager seems a little extreme. But I've applied for a nights position doing grocery shizzle. Me and my coworker have been asking for more hours and it's been borderline flat refusal (although not specifically saying it) here's an exerpt from a text conversation between him and our manager: Manager: Are you in today? Coworker: No, when will I`find oout if I'm getting more hours or not mate? And when is Ash coming over? (someone who has meant to be transferring for over a month now) M: Stop harassing me. C: Speak to Tammy then! (store manager) M: We have C: And... M: She wants flexibility and us to follow the heat map. C: So I'm not getting more hours then? M: I don't need to answer that you can figure that out surely. And then he asked me *twice* why I wanted to move over. I already told him it was for the money. Even though the contracted shift is less hours than what I'm currently on (22.5 hours over 3 days instead of 25 hours over 5 days a week). because of the night premium I'd get about £150 extra before tax. And apparently I'd more than likely be working Saturday/Sunday shifts too, which would be the equivalent of full time and would get me £1500 a month, and that's not including Sunday premium on top. Sure, it'd fuck up my social life more than it is now and my sleep pattern will be wank, but with a house and (in the futures) wedding to fund, I can't sit around hoping a day shift with 30+ hours will come along.

The TCG is played online on yo' PC, cunningly titled PTCGO. Each physical booster comes with a code you can type/scan in and get an online booster (contents may differ from what you actually pulled). I don't think the TCG would work on a handheld console. There's just too much going on. I think the game on the Game Boy looked terrible. If you finally remember what each card does - lovely, but if you wanna search the field and look at stuff in real time, handheld isn't that great. I suppose it could be done on a 3DS or something, however it would be zoomed out a great deal to get everything in. To be fair they do that already. Unless you make one of those pacts with a friend to each buy a different version. But some peeps don't have those feels and still want to catch 'em all. I agree with this/and the other similar comments that have followed, and yet still people lap up FIFA/etc every fucking year.
