Murdoch seems to be getting overly attached to me. He follows me around everywhere and it's 50/50 whether he'll go outside in the garden or not without me going out first/as well. He only lets me pet him solo. If Kelly tries without me he runs away, only if I'm nearby does he trust her enough to allow strokesings. One thing which does baffle me is that in the majority of rooms, if he tracks me down he'll generally come for a small stroke then go lay down somewhere*... but when I'm in the "office" doing internet shizzle - or moreso painting he's walking around my legs meowing as if I hadn't touched/fed him in ages. I loves him but he needs a bit of independence, or at least allow the missus to get some solo kitty strokes. *he loves to sleep on paper. We got him a nice comfy cat bed. Wasn't a fan. Put some paper from some Amazon packaging and he loves it.

The amount of dying I've been doing in this game really makes me respect my younger self, who got all the gems on the original game the old fashioned way. Some of these platforms seem rather hard to get naow. One of the Brio bonus stages inparticular I've not been able to crack yet.

I've seen Daredevil and Jessica Jones, is there any point in watching Cage and Fist before going into Defenders?

After banging in another load I have discovered the secret - it seems the cap thing you find at the bottom right of the machine was loose and the water was leaking out of there. unscrewing it a little and trying to go a bit tighter didn't seem to stem the flow. So I had to pause it mid-cycle and unscrew it fully, water came gushing out as expected but I had several towels ready to stop any more fluid going on the floor. After screwing it back on the problem seems to have resolved. Now I'm washing the towels that were on the floor

I have a feeling our washing machine may have broken... We went hardcore on it yesterday, doing about 4 washes in quick succession, as daylight faded I stopped. Put on a wash today and after the cycle the kitchen floorboards are a bit squidgy, making a squelchy noise and some water has popped up. I've covered the floor with a towel and done a bit of a dance on it to try and bring the water upwards... but I am unsure. Plus also received a note from our neighbours saying the wall at the end of the garden wobbles in the wind. Had a little look and whilst you can see some cracks and if I applied enough pressure I might be able to topple it, thinking the wind could do so is a stretch. I'm gonna go back when they're home just for some clarification and then get someone to have a look at it.

I've been semi-tempted by one of the recent sets, mainly because I love da Ancient Egyptian mythology and the pictures look pretty. but resisted. Sold all my Pokémon cards bar one deck and some promos. Now focusing on the Final Fantasy TCG. Still coming along nicely.

Right, back on my PC after some time of just fapping on the phone and general monging out watching TV. The job at the Mecca seems to be going well, but still the hours are random and crazy. Just got my rota email for week beginning 13th August: 11 hours on the Sunday, 5 on the Monday, 9.5 on Friday and 7 on the Saturday. Middle of the week with nothing much to do. Week after that? No idea, but I'm pretty sure my weekends will still be ruined. In a small moment of joy, I got contacted by Capital One Promotions, who some may remember is one of those door-to-door 'charity'/selling companies, who have once again stumbled across my CV and invited me to an interview tomorrow. They phoned up earlier today and asked if it could be pushed back as the managing director had a "conference call" which would run into my previously agreed time. So I agreed to push it back. Not that I'd be turning up anyway. They appear to have forgotten they have interviews me before and I turned them down. Time for my weekly CV showering to all those that will accept it around the Nottingham area.

Naturally it will nod towards some of the six films that preceded it. It just stole most of its content from Episode IV, except for the ending-ish, which it stole from Return of The Jedi moreso than A New Hope. I have edited it to compensate for this point.

I don't see when it could've dozed off. There always seems to be someone using the Force at some point. Perhaps they're implying it "Awoke" in Rey, just as it did in Luke, which is no surprise as it's a rip off of A New hope. Those red cloaked posters where they've filtered it to make them look like they're wearing red clothes but they're actually not look fucking terrible.

3* interviews over the past week or so, 3 rejections. Two of them were in Leicester so pissed away monies on train fares. Once again lack of experience fucking me in the ass. *Technically 2, one was an open day with about 10 other people and after about 4 hours people were selected to stay for an interview. Which I failed because I wasn't that confident during a debate, and some other bullshit.

Well sadly the crossing of fingers and anuses for the Leicester job did not pan out, as they offered the job to someone more experienced, as is per custom. I don't know how legal staff will exist if they never hire new peeps. Anyways, had another interview at a solicitors in Nottingham which I think went well. Did some audio typing which I really shoulda brushed up beforehand, but I think I did alright. Did semi-begging at the end, saying that I knew I was new to the game but take a chance on me. A new approach, shall see if it works. during said audio typing test my phone went off, luckily it was on vibrate but annoyed me a little. Voicemail afterwards revealed it was my old friends Capital One Promotions wanting me to get in touch with them. They must've forgotten I've done this dance with them before. Naturally I shall not be returning their call.

Also have to say I'm having a lil issue on the Like on the dark theme. I know Jonnas has Liked your post above, but only because I highlighted it. The light green doesn't go well with that shade of grey, neither does the "likes this" text colour. They blend too much

I am serious. For me it's a little too close to the base colour. Plus quoting this post (at least in the quick reply thing) I can barely see your text at all because it be so dark.

Mecca's schedule is breaking my balls. It's annoying that due to bugger all happening in the middle of the day that you waste the whole day doing one day's shift. Take the Monday just gone. I did 11.00 - 3.45. Then came back to do 6.00 - 10.00. That's 11 hours of the day gone for just under 9 hours. On the plus side I have an interview tomorrow for a legal secretary job. The agency said that since I am new-ish to the job I would "only" be eligible for £17-18k a year. As if it wasn't over double my yearly wages for over a decade. It is in Leicester however, which without checking for train deals would cost about £500 a year in travel costs. A small price to pay. So get your fingers and your anuses crossed for me!

Could the text on the grey theme be made a little lighter please?

I wouldn't have gone over 5 Reasons Why. I can imagine the second season is probably going to be like the 2nd season of Broadchurch. Although probably less boring. Now giving Orphan Black a try, although if they start dropping new clones (or whatever) every episode I'm out.
