Missus bought this on the Switch so have been giving it a go. Got to the bottom of the mine by end of Spring. Now in Winter and upping my fishing game (I went for the river farm just for the sake of it) I have Chicken Island and eventually Cow Island once I get the monies I bought the Joja Membership. It's not even the "quick swim" that's the problem. It's depth control. From what I can tell, the only way you can descend is by ground pounding in the water as pressing B to swim will only move you forward a little bit or by mashing it to get to the surface.

Swimming in this game is fucking terrible. The rest of the game thus far has been great but unless I can capture a Cheep Cheep, I do as less swimming as possible. Mario 64 had a perfect system.

I went at him a lil bit weak the first coupla times. Then left it and came back. I could normally take out a couple but the third would just finish me off. Shizzle seems to happen to me like buses. I received an email inviting me to an interview in Nottingham last Tuesday [the interview was on Friday], a couple of days later I get another response to an application inviting me to an interview tomorrow. I thought I bombed the interview on Friday, the personality charm I put on was amazing as always, but I did piss poor at their WPM test - getting about 47-49 which is shocking to me - but to be fair I was put in a cramped booth with no room to manoeuvre oneself. So pinned on the tomorrow interview. Got a call today from them saying I hadn't gotten the job I applied for - legal services assistant- but have been offered an admin assistant role. Which I have accepted! I've just come back from work giving them a written notice of leaving. I've never handed in my notice before. Feels weird. But I'm back on the legal bandwagon, yay!

My cousin came round to try out the Switch and frustratingly watching her run around in circles and not having the camera behind her I managed to steer her towards a shrine I had not yet discovered, which was right next to - also undiscovered by me - Lurelin Village. I am a little surprised that I missed a town on my travels, but I mainly feel sorry for its residents for having zero impact on my ability to complete the game.

It popped up on my feed as "New episodes on Friday" which would imply I missed the first season [however lone ago] due to improper promotion, however as what can only be assumed to be a popular Netflix original it would've been something to promote alone with Orange is The New Black etc. So I could feel guilty about missing this. I took a punt on it anyway because: A] Kirsten Bell is fit. B] Ted Danson is awesome. The watching of this mainly hinged on B though. And I'm glad I gave it the chance. The missus and I haven't had a programme we could watch together since Suits*/Good Wife*, and due to other on demand shit, I can avoid the asterisk for this. *Which I watched ahead and she lost interest of.
