  1. I jumped into it briefly the other day... still no Weakness Exploit Prowler DLC. But yeah, let me know if you do end up hunting at some point, I’d be up for a few hunts!
  2. It’s the original Dino Chav!
  3. True. Anyway, the credits just rolled. Cute game, and pretty fun too. Not sure about the original price tag, but it’s certainly worth the couple of quid I paid for it. So yeah, thanks for the heads up. I see there’s a challenge mode after clearing the game, is anything else unlocked by playing through that?
  4. Yeah, I remember you recommending it before, so decided to pick it up today before the sale ends. So far so good, getting major Bubble Bobble vibes from it, which is nice. Hopping the difficulty will pick up a bit though, as it’s been very much on the easy side so far.
  5. Yeah, I'm still not convinced the Labo VR solution will expand to other titles. It's technically possible of course (not disputing that) but the fact you can't even use Labo VR without actually holding it up to your face, makes it far from ideal for other games to make use of. What I'm thinking would be better, is if Nintendo release a sturdier (not to mention pre-built ) plastic caddy that you could slide the Switch into, similar to the Labo setup, but more comfortable and with straps so it can be worn like a normal VR headset. A peripheral like that would take the hybrid nature of the Switch to the next level! TV? Check. Handheld? Check. VR? Check. That's the ultimate hybrid system right there. They'd probably need to get the Switch Pro released first though.
  6. Only dead cert for me at the moment is Cuphead. Having said that, I do want to check out Labo VR, but at the same time kinda don't. Katana Zero is already on the Watch List along with The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, which has a 2D/retro "Yakuza" vibe going on, so I may be tempted to check that out too. I'd not seen anything of Bot Vice until now, but it looks and sounds like a lost Konami title from the SNES days which has certainly got me interested! So yeah, thanks for bringing it to my attention @Hero-of-Time. (Why are there 3 of you on the members list? Hopefully I mentioned the correct one. )
  7. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins Tetris Balloon Kid The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Game Boy Camera
  8. Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: Fire Emblem Heroes: Zelda Wiki: Oh how I wish that Zelda wiki one was real.
  9. Speculation he could be released tomorrow. It would be funny if they made him playable for only a few hours.
  10. That track from the trailer is in the game: Love it. Shame about the rest of the soundtrack though. Oh, and surprisingly it's not by Totaka.
  11. I'll take... one. Probably. Depends on the game list/price, but it's looking good. Would definitely be nice to have this sitting next to my SNES Mini.
  12. That deserves a synchronised "Hooray!": Flying shrooms!:
  13. Gotta love 200cc.
  14. They absolutely have to nail the soundtrack on this! Make or break. If Yuzo Koshiro is involved, hopefully he'll continue to plagiarise *cough* take inspiration from late 80s/early 90s house:
  15. @Ronnie & @Dcubed, another iPhone SE owner/fan right here. Fantastic device! I also don’t understand the appeal of these gigantic tablet-esque mobiles. “Woo!” *fake applause* That presentation was atrocious.
  16. Don't think it's quite as straightforward as that. I'm part of the existing Switch userbase (and somewhat of an enthusiast I suppose ) but reckon I'd be more interested in a Switch Lite, than a Pro. Man, who am I kidding, it'd be a bloody nightmare as I'd want both! But my point is, I don't really consider the current Switch to be a portable system, it's just way too big! So yeah, if the level of miniaturisation I'm imagining was technically possible (very much doubt it ) I would actually like a Switch that's similar in size to a Game Boy Micro or iPhone SE, something like... I think my "calculations" were correct and the above is all to scale, but it might not be. Basically a mini version of Switch that can easily fit inside a normal sized trouser pocket. Would love that so much. Yes, it'd be super fiddly to use. And sure, it'd be difficult to make out the odd bit of text in certain games. But I'd gladly accept those issues in order to have a truly portable Switch!
  17. Some of the games are only on sale in the US eShop, including Firewatch.
  18. Yeah, kinda forgot that you still only get coins 99% of the time when in first place, even with Mushrooms only. I think @Glen-i got a good view of me trying to take a shortcut on the first lap of Sweet Sweet Canyon... with a coin. Also, all I can hear at the moment is Toad and Toadette screaming. It's like the worst form of tinnitus ever.
  19. Damn. Cheers for the reply though. BTW, who are you reviewing for, if you don't mind me asking?
  20. How's the soundtrack? Seems to be an area that's inferior to Woolly World. Also, is the music at the beginning of this trailer in the game? That groove is slick! Has got to be the work of Kazumi Totaka. Anyway, I wasn't so impressed with the demo version. There's also something about the look of this game that doesn't quite sit right with me. It's difficult to pinpoint, but I think it's the lighting. The game obviously has a cute and colourful style, yet somehow it appears kind of dark at times or too contrasty.
  21. They just toned it down for the direct. The game is still violent and gory as seen in the latest trailer. As for whether it'll have an option in-game, or that less violent footage was specifically created for the direct by the dev, we'll have to wait and see. Personally, I'm not fussed either way. As long as I get to kick basket balls at people's faces, I'm good:
  22. Slight difference between giving their IP to an indie dev compared to Koei Tecmo and Capcom.
