  1. Beat Driveclub today, check out an epic moment from the final event here. :awesome: Great game. It can be a bit flaky at times (especially the online aspects) but it plays well, and obviously looks unreal: Also added Woah Dave! to the list. This was a surprise free game that got added to PS+ the other day (before the rest of the announced titles for April) and it was a right laugh. Brutally difficult though, couldn't stop laughing the first time I played it.
  2. Legend Trophy obtained!! So annoyed about not getting that second star. Anyway, that event certainly lived up to its name, as it produced this legendary moment halfway through the first race: Funny thing is, I actually went on the finish that same race in first place. Here's a montage of different views, courtesy of replay mode: Awesome game. :awesome:
  3. Just with the share button.I copy them to USB though, as I'm guessing additional compression is applied when you upload to twitter.
  4. Got the Pro trophy at last: And have also finally accumulated enough stars to attempt the Legend trophy: The "end" is in sight. Yeah, I checked this out the other day, pretty cool. Also realised there was loads more free DLC that I hadn't downloaded, so picked up all that stuff too. :awesome:
  5. Not played MP10, but nothing wrong with Game & Wario from a gameplay standpoint at all. The only problem with Game & Wario is that it's severely lacking in content, embarrassingly so compared to other games in the WarioWare series (WW:Snapped not included ). And Sticker Star from what I remember was really confusing at times and just weirdly designed in general, otherwise it was pretty good. Relax, Fused King.
  6. Bayonetta 2 is awesome and by far the better game, you should definitely check it out ASAP! :awesome: I think the 3DS version actually has the better single player mode in the form of Smash Run (ironic seeing as it's primarily designed for multiplayer purposes ) but I spent quite a while playing that, unlike Smash Tour on the Wii U version, which I literally played a couple of times and that was it. But yeah, from a single player perspective, both versions aren't really up to much. Multiplayer is definitely where it's at, did you play much local or online against other players? Quality game. Hard to get into, but ultimately very rewarding. And yeah, some of those character descriptions are hilarious.
  7. Another 3DS game added to the list, it's post-Nintendo Direct surprise, BOXBOY! Nice little action puzzler with a lovely retro style, felt as if I was playing a new Game Boy title. Took around 5 hours to beat the standard stages, but a few more worlds open up after the credits, and there are also additional score/time attack stages. I also finished Catherine on PS3 yesterday. Absolutely bonkers game. Wasn't really a huge fan of the gameplay (although it did end up growing on me) but the story and characters were so entertaining that it kept me going. Example of the funnies:
  8. Sneaky April PS+ game Whoa Dave! is currently available for PS4. Playing it now, hilarious stuff.
  9. Hehehe. Good luck finding one. Hmm... Well I suppose there's always a chance they could introduce more costumes based on wave 1 amiibo at a later date, if Villager is anything to go by.
  10. Yeah, I was expecting them to show a bit more of the DLC. Mind you, would much prefer for it to be a surprise, even though that's highly unlikely, as there are bound to be vids showing everything from the DLC a week or so before it goes live, and I'm (stupidly) bound to watch them.
  11. I'm still struggling to win the Pro Trophy, the handling on the super/hyper cars is doing my head in. Can't seem to go more than a few corners at a time without eventually spinning out of control! Wish I could just use a hot hatch for the entire game.
  12. Or the immense annoyance when you later realise that you could've just talked to the giant fucking dragon to proceed, rather than repeatedly get your arse kicked by it. Yeah, although I did ultimately enjoy my first souls game (Dark Souls II) the fact that it took me almost a year to finish, and gave me a pretty tough time throughout means I'm in no hurry to torture myself with Bloodborne. Always good to have some games on the to do list though, and I'll probably check this out at some point in the future.
  13. Yeah, there are so many story driven titles available on the other platforms/PC, and that's where anyone who's into that kind of gaming should be looking for those experiences. That's not to say people shouldn't enjoy and anticipate Nintendo's take on it every so often, but they shouldn't be expecting the same quality or amount of narrative focused games being made by Nintendo or appearing on its consoles. Never been what they're primarily about, hopefully never will.
  14. Yeah, something is definitely up with NSMBU, but I can't quite put my finger on it... I've still not finished it though, and rarely find the motivation to even start playing. Could just be that I'm a bit tired of platformers at the moment, but this is the first time I've ever played through a Mario game with such gigantic gaps in between each session. Weirdest thing of all is that when I do actually play it, I have a great time. Mario Paint high five! : peace:Kind of tempted to get my SNES hooked up and have another go on MP. I wonder what the last thing I worked on was like. Dat 1 save slot. Remember having to use a VCR to record stuff? Those were the days.
  15. Same here, and I enjoy the Nintendo of past and present.
  16. That vid gave me major goose bumps at the end of the latest Nintendo Direct... Still does when I watch it now. Have to admit, I was thinking it could be something else when they were lingering on Super Mario Kart for so long. Anyway, can't believe 200cc is finally happening. The way it changes up/creates new shortcuts is amazing, it seems as though it's going to feel like playing a new game! :awesome: Next DLC also looks rad, and bringing the release date forward was the icing on the cake. New amiibo costumes too! Annoyed that there's no Pikachu one though, especially as Mega Man, Sonic and Pac-Man are now included. @Serebii, why no Poké costumes you reckon?
  17. I really hope they choose a more obscure character to add to Smash, and preferably not from any of the franchises that are already heavily represented. Would love to see quirky characters, like Tingle, Chibi-Robo, Goemon, Jimmy T, Ulala and the one I ended up voting for: :awesome: Gotta get that Karate Joe amiibo!
  18. Words cannot describe how happy I am that the Data Robot and its legendary tune from Mario Paint return for Mario Maker. I actually hope it takes as long to upload stages as it did to save stuff on MP, just so I can listen to it more. Obviously very much looking forward to Mario Maker, but I am quite puzzled by the September release. Going on what they've shown so far (in fact, even when it was first shown) the game looks ready to roll, I really don't understand what's going to hold it up until September. Perhaps impatience is clouding my judgement though.
  19. Might wanna resize them a bit next time. Big GIFs be Big. I think it'd actually be unplayable. Seriously, it's impossible to get that bike around some corners as it is.
  20. G1: I imagine the only thing worse than that theme, would be to do it at 200cc. : peace:
  21. Best. Direct. Ever.
  22. I'd be up for some pre-Direct Smash.
  23. Commencing Hype!!!! [countdown=04/01/2015 11:00 PM;]Count down:[/countdown] All rise for the Nintendo Direct hype train anthem: Audio
  24. Me. But I'm someone that actually likes/plays videogames, which seems to be a bit of a rarity around here these days.
  25. Finished the final mission of the demo earlier. They bring in another boss Oni and just as you think you're gonna fight it... "Thanks for Playing!" Good way to make people go and buy the full game. Anyway, I found the demo quite fun, so I'll definitely be keeping the full version in mind for the future. Yes it's essentially a poor man's Monster Hunter, but that's what makes it enjoyable. I like how it's also got aspects from the silly side of MH, like a cute pet animal thingy you can look after/send on quests, and the same kind of goofy dialogue from the NPCs. Gotta love ω-Force's character designs too:
