  1. All looking good to me. Kinda pissed that those additional mini-arcade games are locked to amiibo challenges though. As for the demo, is it only going to be playable at those specific times on Saturday? Didn't really catch what was going on there.
  2. Hehehe. It's all good. I'd be happy with any of the games you mention there, the benefit of loving all of Nintendo's IP. I just hope they streamline the experience for the next AC. Don't want to be sitting through tons of repeated dialogue every time I visit the shop, or for everything to grind to a halt whenever someone visits your town. Hopefully they'll really expand on town customisation too, that was a great addition to New Leaf and has a lot of potential.
  3. Goddammit drahkon...ARRGGGHHHH!!!!
  4. The most annoying thing about them is how they reckon everything is a secret and that they're discovering all this hidden stuff. Err... no. Anyone that's even remotely with it can clearly see everything that you're pointing out.
  5. [countdown=05/07/2015 3:00 PM;]Count down:[/countdown]
  6. Awesome stuff. This should've happened years ago!
  7. 32 actually. You (somehow) missed Monster Hunter 4 on that list. BTW, I saw Papo & Yo on your trophy list the other day, but with just the 1 trophy (which I thought was strange seeing as it's such a short game). Not your cup of tea? Or was it just too technically flawed for you to enjoy? I seem to recall screen tearing being a pet peeve of yours, and that game suffered from it pretty bad.
  8. Just been majorly tripping out with Hohokum: Absolutely mental. It left me so fucked up that I spent about 5 minutes trying to plug the wrong type of USB cable into my DS4.
  9. Wario and a few more amiibo that are sold out on Nintendo Store are currently available at ShopTo, albeit at their slightly inflated prices: http://www.shopto.net/video-games/wii-u/in-stock/store
  10. But I want "DOSE MARKERS!" on Wii U too.
  11. Nothing new for this thread.
  12. So, any early deliveries of this+Kirby toy from the Nintendo Store?
  13. Not sure if I want the rumour of a post-direct Splatoon demo to be true or not. On the one hand it'd be awesome to get to play some the game already, but on the other, it'll could end up making the wait for the full game all the more painful and also lessen its impact slightly... Not even a remote chance that I wouldn't download it if it did happen though, I'm far too weak.
  14. Not expecting any megatons this year. But hopefully Nintendo have got quite a few smaller surprises in store for us. I'd love some more MK8 DLC, a SNES Remix, the finalised version of Art Academy Sketch Pad, etc... Guessing Star Fox will be fully revealed this time around, and we'll see what (if anything) has become of Project Robo/Guard. I suspect if we're going to get any significant retail game announcement from Nintendo it'll be a Wii U version of Animal Crossing. Which would be awesome, but at the same time I do worry that they'll be sticking to the formula too much, and AC could do with a bit of an overhaul now. As for Direct vs Press Conference, I'm not really fussed. At the end of the day the content is the same, and that's ultimately what I'm interested in. Obviously the shows we've had in the past have provided a lot of entertainment and some great moments, but we've had more than our fair share of "zazz" over the years:
  15. Getting increasingly hyped for this Direct. Even just the possibility of hearing some more of Splatoon's soundtrack is enough to make me excited for this ND though.
  16. Pretty much yeah. That's what I ended up doing anyway (despite having access to online) did all of my high rank key/urgent quests solo. It's tough, but all the more rewarding when you finally make it. Do agree with you though, I don't see why there has to be this disconnect between the offline and "online" sides of the game, especially as the quests are more or less identical.
  17. [TWEET]595235737462779904[/TWEET] Not played this since reaching G Rank a while back. Should probably check out that Mega Man and Chun-Li Palico DLC though.
  18. Just something I read on Neogaf. I remember you mentioning 5.1 support being mandatory though, so it seemed strange to see someone complaining that this game was in stereo. Unless of course it is like NSMBU and Smash. But that's also weird because a stereo mix at least makes some sense in both of those cases, but obviously Xenoblade would benefit hugely by featuring surround sound. I guess we'll just have to wait until the game is out over here to find out for sure. I've gotten used to playing Wii U in stereo again now anyway, these days I get my surround sound fix from the PS3/4.
  19. Nice version of Ripple Field from KDL3 in this:
  20. So I hear this game (the Japanese version at least) doesn't feature surround sound, only stereo. Pretty weird. Not that it really bothers me, seeing as I'm still rocking my old non-HDMI AV Receiver. I imagine some people won't be too pleased about that though, including @Dcubed. BTW, any thoughts on why they've omitted 5.1? Technical reasons perhaps?
  21. I was so lucky on that Water Park race. 3 invincibility stars pretty much in a row (a triple shroom broke the combo ) one of which was obtained in 2nd place! But yeah, my luck clearly ran out during the following race on Baby Park.
  22. G1: : peace:
  23. My Wario amiibo just keeps on being awesome: ...
