Not really, no. Plus, Squenix takes longer to type, and I be lazy.

Oh yeah! I forgot about your love for the Final Fantasy franchise. Anyway, 'tis great that they're not going to clash now, not that I was bothered. Will still check out the SE conference for Just Cause 3 though. :awesome:

Yeah right.

Interesting... So amiibo that are sold out in the amiibo section of the Nintendo Store, suddenly aren't sold out if you buy 'em with Code Name S.T.E.A.M., ey?
-
Indeed. However, if you're careful it is possible to do it without leaving any signs that it has been opened. It's impossible to tell that I opened mine, because I used a pen knife to remove all of the little stickers that cover up the tri-wing screw compartments, and then made sure to keep them clean so they stuck back perfectly afterwards.

I said 12 months or so. Anyway, I'm just saying had there been less gaps (and especially no gargantuan 3+ month gaps ) in the release schedule, the Wii U would've been in much better shape right now.

I only made the 1 vote too (before the first post was edited) so went for my overall fave, Mario Kart 8. :awesome: Otherwise I would've also voted for Smash Bros. and Mario 3D World. But yeah, all of those titles are great. The Wii U really does have an amazing collection of games now, it's just a shame it took 2 and a half years to reach this point. Imagine if all the games in the poll had been available within the first 12 months or so, would have been a very different story I reckon...

I had the same thing with my GamePad, ended up opening it up and discovered it was a tiny screw. Anyway, I removed it (couldn't find where it was from) and my GamePad has been rattle free ever since, still works fine too. BTW, you'll need a tri-wing screwdriver if you do plan to open up the GamePad.

It's called the crazy 8 for a reason you know. And yeah, how jammy were you with those shells.

Codename: S.T.E.A.M. - Strike Team Eliminating the Alien Menace
RedShell replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Wow, verrrry quiet in here. This game is released tomorrow, but there's pretty much zero hype. Is anyone getting it? I gave the demo a go but it really wasn't my kind of game, so I'll be passing. Get the feeling that it's not going to do too well. -
I doubt Mega64 will have anything to do with the actual Digital Event, as that would be insane. That new vid has definitely got me hyped for Nintendo's E3 stuff though. Really glad the Treehouse events are back too, they were great last year.

That's probably not too far off.Unfortunate positioning of the support for dog though.
-
Pretty much. Either way, that's gonna be one fragile amiibo.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Official Thread: A Brotherhood Reunited
RedShell replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So I downloaded the latest DLC earlier, and spotted there was a new episodic quest involving... -
Well one thing is certain, the R.O.B. amiibo won't be needing any support pillars. Still worried about DHD though...

Yeah, it's been quite a while since anything was shown, will be a shame if it doesn't make 2015. Same for The Tomorrow Children, I really hope that will be released this year.

No Blaze? That doesn't seem right for this game.

Yeah, I've heard similar things before too, but I think that's more to do with using really high powered vacuum cleaners. Most of them have a setting to reduce the suction power a bit though, and you can always just adjust the distance between what you're cleaning if not.I've been hoovering my consoles/PCs for years anyway, never had a problem.

So Ether One seems to be the only dud in this month's PS+ selection, or perhaps it's just a really bad port. But I downloaded it yesterday and as soon as I started it up, it crashed. Restarted the PS4 and tried again, this time it ran but it made the fans on my PS4 go absolutely nuts! Seriously, it sounded like a fucking airplane was taking off! Was constant too, regardless of what was going on in-game. As soon as I closed it (which was pretty damn soon ) the fans slowed down and it was back to normal. Doesn't appear to have been optimised for PS4 at all, nasty stuff.

I just use the little brush attachment on the hoover, it moves the dust off while simultaneously sucking it up. Best way to clean the air vents too.

I finished my first playthrough of The Unfinished Swan last night. Very surreal game. Having to reveal the environment around you is a brilliant idea (although splatting that paint didn't help with my Splatoon withdrawal symptoms ) I also really enjoyed the use of sound, particularly the surround sound, was fun chucking paintballs up as high as possible and then moving forward slightly to hear them splatting on the ground behind me. I've also been playing Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition again. I say again, but it was the original version I'd played before, so I am getting to enjoy some new features with STCE. Have also noticed a few changes that aren't so good though, like changing the DA logo to not look so much like EA's and they also got rid of the seizure inducing screen flash when collecting a power-up (although having the light bar on the DS4 freak out at that point is a nice touch ). I wasn't planing to play through Guacamelee again so soon, but it's just such an awesome game that I couldn't resist. Have added it to the list as beat in advance (still have the final boss to fight) but will no doubt finish it very soon.

Dammit, I was nearly at level 11 on the squid jump mini-game! Anyway, more great Turf Wars. Hope Nintendo don't really leave us hanging until the 29th. I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG!!!!

Few more entries for my gaming diary... Played through all of Mario Kart 8 again (plus the new DLC tracks) this time at 200cc! :awesome: Awesome stuff, I really hope we'll be seeing even more DLC added to MK8 in the near future. And started off the month with some new PS+ titles, Race the Sun and Hohokum. Had been looking forward to playing Hohokum ever since getting a PS4, and it didn't disappoint. Knew I was in for a good time as soon as I spotted this lovely little reference: Thought it was way too blatant to be coincidental, and I was right because it turns out Richard Hogg is a big Rhythm Tengoku fan. Anyway, great game. Perfect for chilling/zoning out.

My best result from this afternoon's Turf War session: Zero Splats! :awesome: That'll definitely be a rarity in the future. I only played 1 game with the Splat Charger, didn't do too well with it. Got a couple of cool moments out of it though, like taking someone out in mid-air: And a double splatting!:
