Yeah, that's cool. What's the plan for tonight then, are you gonna post in here to let us know when to connect? Also, do we need to play as the same character for all 3 matches? -
LOL @ people complaining about the story in this over at Neogaf. How it's possible to not get that JC has intentionally bad/cheesy dialogue (which is hilarious BTW ) I'll never know. Very true. Mind you, there are so many people playing this already (and have been for quite a few days) the "day 1" patch is live, the servers are up (when they feel like staying up ) and the trophies work properly. So it kind of feels like the game is officially out. Hope so. Such a weird design choice though.

Simply Games delivering the goods once again! Anyway, the game is obviously awesome! :awesome: But... what's not so awesome is that the damn servers are playing up, and it seems like the game doesn't want to run without being connected. Every time it loses the connection it pauses to let you know and choosing "continue in offline mode" is pointless, because a few minutes later the game will automatically pause and attempt to connect again! Why even have an option for offline mode, if it's not going to stay in it?! So yeah, I'm probably going to hold off from playing anymore, until the servers are sorted as it's too annoying how it keeps randomly stopping during gameplay.

Yeah, I got the theme. Unfortunately it's just a bog-standard one though, so no music. Apparently all of the themes from Badge Arcade are like that too, so doubt I'll be getting anymore.

Excellent stuff @Dcubed. You've done a fantastic job with this. Really looking forward to it. Yeah, don't think you need to worry too much though, ey? Meanwhile I'll just be hoping for a repeat of your antics with DeDeDe, in order for me to stand a chance. -
Sweet! I've not been on this for a while, don't recall seeing that giant Resetti. Is there anyway to know when the new challenges are available outside of the game? Would be good if there were SpotPass notifications for them.

There's just too many bad vibes in general around Nintendo at the moment. At this point it doesn't really matter what comes out on 3DS or Wii U, people have been burnt already and it's clearly had a huge impact on enjoyment and anticipation of games for these systems.

Have this pre-ordered, but really shouldn't. Just Cause 3 is out a few days earlier, and the release of Yakuza 5 is imminent. 2 absolutely huge games that I'm looking forward to way more than Xenoblade.

The N-Europe Super Smash Bros Anniversary Tourney signup thread!

I'm definitely up for Saturday and Monday! (Crazy Smash FTW! ) Possibly Sunday too, depending on when it goes down. 8-10pm is my preferred time slot. : peace: -
So ready for this game. Just praying it runs well on PS4. Everything we've seen so far has been from the PC version I believe. Anyway, not long to go now! If Simply Games are on the ball, could potentially be playing this next week!!

Finally got around to playing through the first (and no doubt only) PC game I'll play this year, the critically acclaimed, Undertale. I now fully understand why @Glen\-i didn't do his usual write-up in here for this game, as to not potentially spoil it for anyone else. It's definitely the kind of thing you want to go into with as little prior knowledge as possible. Anyway, while I found the game enjoyable (despite not being a huge fan of the genre) and can see why it's been received so well, I certainly wasn't blown away by it. Having said that, you've got to admire the fact that this game was essentially created by an individual, and having some experience of solo game development myself (although far from on this sort of scale) I am very much aware of the kind of determination it requires. You truly have to be filled with determination. But yeah, Undertale gave me a lot of laughs, the writing is absolutely fantastic. The characters are brilliant, the music is great, and I obviously loved the quirkiness of it all. It's also fun just discovering aspects that have been inspired by or reference other games. The attention to detail is really quite remarkable, actually puts a lot of studio developed titles to shame! It's unfortunate the game is being held hostage on PC though (something that was touched upon in this thread a while back) as it could work on console just fine. Although, those bits... would probably need to be modified slightly.

That was certainly interesting... Shame it's not possible to properly customize team games, as they're pretty good fun and definitely mix things up a lot.
-
I'd struggle to even consider getting this game from the bargain bin now! What a disaster.

While that is indeed the recommendation from them, I've used a non-mains powered external drive for ages with my Wii U (hooked up via Y cable) and not had any problems. Was using a USB stick before then (despite those also being not recommended) and that was fine too.So yeah, I don't think it's a big deal really. Still wish the Wii U just came with a decent size HHD in the first place though.

I finally got a bonus dummy badge today! 2 free plays from that, plus another free play from collecting 10. Managed to get a bunch of REAL badges with those plays, bringing my total of REAL badges up to 20, and I still haven't spent any REAL money. Haven't completed any sets though, with only 1 badge missing to do so on a few, but luckily I'm not a completionist so not fussed by that. Mwahahaha! Sorry Mr. Bunny. He'll get the last laugh I'm sure...

Can't believe you picked grinding on Driveclub over Guacamelee!
-
Yeah, I saw that over on Neogaf and got seriously hyped. Shame it was a mistake. Would be good if they could at least get a demo out this month.

More like, "Woo Hoo! Another member" full stop. Welcome, @Ugh first aid. : peace: Anyway, Hero-of-Time, you'll be pleased to hear I'm starting to have pretty bad luck on this now too. I think the game can sense my frustration while waiting for it to load, and is punishing me for it. As if the wait wasn't punishing enough... OK, I promise not to moan about the load times again. Maybe.
-
Yeah, but just briefly. Will check them out in detail soon though.
