When I get Amazon Prime again, I shall watch it. Need to watch The Boys season 3 at some point. Not a massive fan of LotR so I'm in no hurry but I do think I'll enjoy it as a fan of fantasy

Watched the first two episodes. Completely over the top and extreme but good entertainment as always.

Good point with the time zone. Doesn't make any sense.

The rumoured Direct next week is perhaps delayed due to the death of the queen. Convenient for the leakers if it doesn't come next week.

So the three different stories we can choose from are searching for Titans, going the Gym route, or taking down Team Star? The graphics in this trailer look awful. The models are very basic and the effects aren't very good. I hope this is just YouTube but I fear it's more general.

Heads up. Got LEGO Brawl the other day as it looked fun (for review). It isn't Don't buy it. My 5 year old found it fun for an hour and then he wanted to play something else. There is some fun in creating your own minifigures but it's more fun with real LEGO.

It's a bit early to say that they are all reskins but it sure doesn't look good. I'm impressed that people spotted it, though.

Done with chapter 4. That ending was absolutely phenomenal. My team is level 46 or 47 and is holding up against story enemies just fine, nontrival battles but nothing too straining. The last fights on Chapter 4 were good, but once again chain attacks are absurdly powerful, taking down a boss from 50 % damage.

A release early next year, perhaps end of January, would really work better for this game. Too many big releases in November and December for this being able to compete.

Yikes. Went for a run today, and it was terrible. Just didn't have the energy for it, and it was hot and humid outside, though only 25 degrees but it felt like more. Managed 6.38 km with a few breaks in 28:26 minutes so there is room for improvement. I don't run regularly anymore. Since getting back to work and not working from home, time and energy for running and exercising in general is just not there. I bike to work every day, 8.7 km and I usually do that in about 20 minutes so it's not like I don't exercise but the route has a few stops and biking doesnt help running that much.

What does Hard mode change? If it's just more HP and more damage, I don't care. It'll just drag out the fights but with three healers on the team, it doesn't matter much. I haven't touched much of the story for the past 5 hours. Just did hero quests. I'm at 35 hours now, though. It's a great game, I really enjoy it.

Chain Attacks are crazy overpowered. Just killed a boss, it went from 50 % damage to overkill during a Chain Attack. I ended up doing more than 800,000 damage! And I'm only level 36...

Yeah, the female characters have surprisingly much clothes on this time around. Still big boobs but covered.

As an outsider, it seemed very unepic and reading what was announced makes it hard to believe that they needed 30 minutes for that. So enthusiasts, was it a good showing?

I agree, if you didn't like the second game, this one won't turn you over. The story is better and more mature (thematic, not boobs), though, which is definitely a plus.

Glad to hear it went well. Did you get to watch him being to to sleep before the surgery? We did that with our oldest son when he was newborn. It was heartbreaking.

I started Chapter 4 the other day and I'm surprised how strong my characters already are. I get plenty of Chains with 150,000 damage or more, and ending with Ouroboros is just absurdly strong. There was a giant creature in the beginning of Chapter 4 that I needed to slay and none of my characters died during that fight. I can only imagine what they might add to the combat later on.

Well. That is a good point. Except that those games come with a story (well, bar Mario Kart but I personally don't need a new entry of that as well) and new gameplay elements, while Splatoon 3 is just an online shooting game and what we've seen of the third game so far doesn't really warrant a new entry, rather it could be sold as DLC. I guess they just don't want to divide players intro people with and people without DLC which is probably why we get a new game in the series instead. (It's also baffling why they cut the support for Splatoon 2 so soon instead of using that to lead people into buying the third game.)

The second game made sense as it came to a new console. This one? Nope. Not from the outside at least. Won't bother with this game. I just don't have the time to play online multiplayer games anymore.

I haven't finished Chapter 3 yet but got the first new colony and got the hero from that one. There have been som pretty interesting cut scenes on my way there, I'm really looking forward to seeing what all of this is all about. I'm about 17 hours in and all my party members are level 26 ish. I also try to switch classes whenever they max out their class rank.

That makes me think that they will release the entire movie one picture at a time on Twitter.

And all Fire Emblem characters look the same anyway.... And use swords.
