Actually, if you highlight a support slot and then use Auto-pick, it assigns some Support Spirits automatically. Even so, it's not truly random, the game determines effective spirits for the situation and picks from those. So for example, in a normal fight, you probably won't get a spirit that protects you from being frozen, because the game deems it too situational compared to other ones like "Air Attack Up". At least, that's how I imagine it works. I've never actually tried using spirits in a normal fight, might have to experiment against some CPU's a bit.

Are you utilising Expert Mode? Lowering your level raises the EXP you get from enemies. Dropping your level and fighting enemies near the last area can make things go a lot quicker. Level 78 should be the minimum you aim for before doing that particular cave I think you may be alluding to.

@Happenstance, sorry. Gonna have to take that no-concert crown from you, because I've literally never gone to a live concert. It probably says a lot about my taste in music when I have to say the closest I've gotten to a live concert is the Zelda Live Orchestra when it came to London.

Best Mini Game Sit down, peeps. I'm gonna give you the most amazing mini game in Zelda history. It's Tetra's Trackers from The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. An absolutely spectacular competitive orienteering game that no-one played because it was only on the Japanese and Korean version of the game. The game is mostly played on a GBA whilst Tetra shouts commentary at you from the TV. It's fully voice acted (So no, BotW didn't do it first.) and the commentators really get into it. (Especially The King of Red Lions, who is delightfully narmy in his delivery) It probably didn't get released here because Tetra actually shouted the names of each player and that's difficult to pull off in other languages. A shame too, it's the best game in Four Swords Adventures. The amount of variety keeps it fresh for ages and it's a laugh a minute! I should know, @Dcubed has this version.

As a hobbyist artist, I completely understand this phenomenon. No-one ever look at my drawings from 5+ years ago! They're too embarrassing!

You must be thinking of Stock and Stamina, where I use 10 minutes. It helps contrast the more frantic pace of 3 minute Time Battles. Yeah, I'm not a fan of amiibos in Smash. They blatantly cheat and I already have enough CPU related headaches trying to beat every 9.9 Classic route. Spirits on the other hand have the potential to be hilarious. Completely unbalanced, sure. But bonkers! I would have to run it past @BowserBasher and @S.C.G though, they're one half of our little N-E group, and they may not be as spiritually stacked as I am. Although, if there's a way to randomise the Spirits you use each fight, like you can with characters without you knowing what you've got beforehand, that could be a recipe for hilarity!
