I got the DLC for a tenner and "platinum'd" it, it was pretty good but yeah, didn't mix things up at all. Still it was nice to swing around again and get all the new suits.

Can anyone recommend any great PC VR games/videos/experiences from the past year that I might've missed? Only thing I picked up for a while has been Beat Saber. The Rift store is truly trash since you can't see ratings without clicking, can't sort by ratings...

It isn’t. Damn. They stepped up to the challenge of “how can you make snowboarding boring”. I think I’ll just dig out the GameCube and play SSX 3 instead.

I've skipped the demo for this and pre-ordered! Not really played a Resi since 5, which I enjoyed as a co-op romp but not much beyond that. This sounds great

It's much much better than the first trailer made everyone think it was going to be. Seemed it was going to be terrible edgelord trash but it's actually a cut above all the soap opera CW shows like Arrow, Flash and actually tells a coherent story (with no love triangles or secret keeping trust issues! As far as I can tell). Definitely worth a try at least.

I think I'd have returned for Destiny 3 either way, but it's definitely a more promising outlook now. I had a lot of love for D1 and the only reason I was burned by D2 was the weak content releases and weighted focus on loot boxes. By all accounts, Forsaken fixed a lot of that but it was too late for me and most of the NE clan.

The movie was definitely good, a worthy recommendation. But, after the book I find it hard not to be disappointed when you're holding out for certain really good scenes and they're dropped altogether.

Another book I loved that had a disappointing movie adaptation! Mind you, it just missed a lot of good bits, but was at least still a good movie overall, unlike TTW.

I foolishly bought Origins because it was cheap, and I was out of the loop and didn't know this game was due out a week or two later. Now I barely got into that game, because the grind of levelling up on boring sidequests was daunting very early on. And I hear this game is more of the same, is there any reason I might enjoy this one more though? I used to love the AC games, I wish they would return to their roots a bit. It used to be a Hitman style game where you stalked your mark, learned their routes, listened for tips and hid in crowds. Every encounter with town guards was a MGS style mistake meant to be rectified through escape and hiding, not free-flowing melee combat. I'd like to go back to that a bit....

They also missed out a lot of very important moments. The name didn't bother me at first but when I tried to convince people to read it, I found several people hung up on it, thinking it would be a soppy romance from the perspective of someone who sits at home while their husband goes off Doctor Whoing (ok, I may have not done a good job of selling it to them)

I love The Time Travellers Wife. It's hard to get people to check it out now because of the combination of the bad name and the terrible movie, but it is really so worth checking out.

That's awesome I used to have a setup a bit like that but don't really have much room in my current house, I hope to set it all up again in the future!

I'm not sure what prices are like over there but that doesn't seem very good, it's frequently < £16 brand new here.

Also the numbers might not include lots of people, those who don’t have the internet or those who keep their stats private. Similarly they’ll be inflated by multiple people playing the same game on the same system etc.. My only stats of note are that Transistor was my first game - which was a disappointment after hoping for another Bastion, and less impressive than Drift but 1650 or so hours on Destiny 1.

I caught a Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse preview on Saturday and it was stunning. Must-watch for any fans. Probably the best Spider-Man movie so far. And to think, I was so cynical when it was announced.

I honestly thought everything was trash except Daredevil, and even that nearly fell off in season 2. Production values were obviously incredibly high but they never recreated a scrap of the writing or directing talent that really made DD. I wouldn't be surprised if they sunk a lot more cash into these than they should have. I forced myself through JJ season 1, but I never managed to finish a single season of any of the others. Defenders was painful too.

CTR was amazing, we were just chatting about it on Overwatch. Would love a remake.

We're just soft now too many tutorials, saves and infinite lives.
