Probably going to go see it next week or something.

I'm thinking it'll be packed this week so am going to see Borat instead!

I'll probably go and see it to see how the new Bond is. And Borat rules, funniest thing i've seen in a while.

As I posted in the other topic, I'm going to the premiere (it's not out 'til the 24th here, damned Norway).

Woohoo. Looking forward to it very much. Watching the trailer at the movie theatre a few weeks back blew me away, it was really something.

They are doing this special thing at the odean in Greenwich which i might try and go to.

You pay £20 and get:

Entry and chips to a mock up casino

Shot of martini

Gallery seats to see the film which includes free refills of drinks, nachos, popcorn and sweets.

Bit pricey for my liking, do the chips = money at the end of the night?

I mean for 80p down Tesco Express you can get a 2 litre bottle of drink, tickets are £5.50 at a typical ODEON.. sweets and crisps are far from expensive.

I'll be seeing it Thursday or Friday.

So, you are paying around £10 for the experience. Probably worth it.

edit: Also, I doubt you can sneak a 2-litre bottle into a cinema.

Cinemas have no right to refuse you access if you're taking your own snacks in. They'd love you to think that but it's merely an urban myth.

I do it all the time, taking a 2 litre bottle is slightly extreme but I was merely using it as an example to compare it to free refills.

People do it all the time, our ODEON is opposite a Woolworths which always has better deals. I only ever see people going to the ODEON thing for ice cream or pop corn.

Two things which are better fresh. It's just a rip-off.. £2 for a bag of sweets which would be buy one get one free at Woolies for £1.

I'm a natural cheap skate.. I would pay £10 for free refills and foods.

The comfy seats do not appeal to me, they're all the same at my local except for about 10 at the bottom where you have to jerk your neck.

I'm pretty darn excited too, I heard the theme tune by Chris Cornell and thought it was pretty cool.

I'll be seeing this on Thursday (with GoW arriving the next day hopefully)!

I heard it was a bold new move to invigorate the series and bring it on par with today's action movies.

But they do say this about every Bond film.. I'm happy they're moving forward instead of remaining stagnant as Brosnan has done.

Not entirely sure, think it may just be for fun as i doubt a cinema would have a gambling licence.

As for it being pricey i dont think it's that bad seen as it also includes the gallery seats (these are massive, with loads of room and are ridiculously comfortable) which are usually £13 anyway so for an extra £7 you're getting an extra bit of fun which im sure will add to the whole experience and make a good night out with my mates. :)

im excited for this movie.Even though i thought die another day was ball suckage

It was that..

The series died after Goldeneye, shame really because that is easily in my top 5 Bond films. Not sure if it was Brosnan's or the Script Writer's fault...

This one looks like it will be good though. Anyone else think Daniel Craig is the scariest looking Bond ever?

Not bad gaggle, our local Arts Centre only gets films really late on in their life.. they showed Fight Club last year.

But they don't do it as much as they used to anymore. Pity, guess they got muscled out by the ODEON.

It is quite a nice venue, based in a church.

I swear you aren't allowed to bring in your own food to the cinema??

I always thought that you weren't allowed to do that.....but I have always managed to sneak in sweets and pop corn from the near by Iceland anyway. haha.

Of course you're allowed to.. Mostly everyone thinks you aren't though. I brought in about 1,5 litres of apple juice, 1,5 litres of coke, a huge bag of candy and a bag with some bread and some strawberry jam last time I went. It was there for anyone to see, 'cause come on, how the hell would I hide that, and they didn't care. They never care.

I carn't wait to actually see the film, but come on why techincally set it in the bloody past, and then add bloody laptops.

Only two great james bond's - Roger moore and Piece Brosnan

And another thing with this james bond this they have actually removed all the smart talk and gadgets. To me they are removing the best bits of bond. And bond carn't have blonde hair.

Sony thanks to you buying MGM you have ruined something else.
