Ashley Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 American Footballer if my friend will lend me his gear, or surfer which may not work too well as it isn't really a costume as much as vest and shorts...
AshMat Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Cellotape lots of paper together around yourself.
ViPeR Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Since when did Halloween become New Years' Eve Mark 2...
Ramar Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 My mates and I are going as the Ghostbusters. Me and a few friends were going to go as The ghostbusters. But alas I have to work and so I will miss the party. *cries*
Ashley Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Since when did Halloween become New Years' Eve Mark 2... Halloween = dressing up New Years Eve = drinking up
Cube Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Why is there virtually no Halloween stuff in stores? Theres more Xmas stuff....
Charlie Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I might go as an angry Scotsman. Or a Vampire.
Letty Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I might go as an angry Scotsman.Or a Vampire. Or a robot, then you wouldn't have to buy a costume
Ashley Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Angry Scottish Robot Vampire perhaps? (Fangs, cape, metal body parts, kilt and general pissed off facial expressions is how you achieve that look)
Platty Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I've got a Halloween party to go to on friday and was gonna dress up as the guy from clockwork orange (seen as it was filmed where i live and also i find him quite scary) But yet again I have left it too late to sort out a cosutme... and when speaking to others no one else is dressing up anyway.... Bah Halloween is only a stupid American thing....Bring on Guy Fawks!
Ashley Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I've got a Halloween party to go to on friday and was gonna dress up as the guy from clockwork orange (seen as it was filmed where i live and also i find him quite scary) Bah Halloween is only a stupid American thing....Bring on Guy Fawks! Being London...where nothing is filmed? Halloween originates from Samhein (sp?), a Pagan holiday which im pretty sure is more of European origin than American :P The Americans just made it cool.
Platty Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Being London...where nothing is filmed? Thamesmead my friend, Thamesmead.
Ashley Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Thamesmead my friend, Thamesmead. You still live in London. Know how much gets filmed in Kidderminster? (Apparently some Harry Potter was and something else as we have an old shite trainline but thats irrelevant!)
Bowser57 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 American Footballer Me too! With a slight twist as I didn't want to spend £100 on the helmet I want, I do already have a mini version though that I'm going to just wear on top of my head like a tiny hat. I did want to go as a KKK member, but can't find anywhere to get the costume, I was sure I'd be able to get one online. I especially would have liked that as my friend is going as a Black Panther.
KKOB Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Halloween = dressing up New Years Eve = drinking up too true :p
James Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 What about going as a Minstrel, you know "Hello Daaaaaveee" Black tar spread on your face, some old style clothes.
KKOB Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 What about going as a Minstrel, you know "Hello Daaaaaveee" Black tar spread on your face, some old style clothes. i thought that-then i also0 though dame edna and dolly parton :S :p
ZeldaFreak Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 weidos, halloween is to get a real looking gun and point it at teenagers and fire caps at their asses. Also I recently got ome caps that have a similiar effect to the bullets off "XXX" where they look like a person has been shot. Will be soooo funny MWAAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I also got the gloves I need for my costume, not proper leather ones. Two for a quid down at Primark. O_O
Emasher Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 my teacher is obsesed with super mario bros so were all dressing up as mario characters in my class. i'm going to be a chain chomp
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 How does one go as a chain chomp? Wear all black with a circle head and a chain sticking out your arse? Nice. If you need chains I saw some rustyish ones down at Woolworths for about a fiver.
Ashley Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 By the looks of it im going as an American Footballer, which could be awkward in a pub though due to huge shoulder pads (although I'll know what its like to be fat I suppose... be weird as im used to ducking and dodging between people)
Iun Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 We need someone to be Winston Zedmore (Y'honour) any takers?
Fields Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 My latest idea is Papa Lazarou from the League of Gentlemen. Anyone know where I can get the necessary gear?
