Solo Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Wow that looks georgous, did they make Baiten Katos?
ZeldaFreak Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 No if memory serves they created Xenosagas or Star Ocean - think it was Star Ocean though
Aimless Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 The game's title sounds like a piss-take of JRPG naming conventions... Anyway, RPGs are always welcome, especially if they're 360 bound; I bought Enchanted Arms recently, and it's actually pretty good.
Daft Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 We have an early build at work. Its pretty fun. I think I might be testing it after Crystal Chronicles is done.
Retro_Link Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 New Trailer http://www.gametrailers.com/player/35034.html Looks alright.
Domstercool Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Tri-Ace have done games like Star Ocean, Valkryie Profile and Radiate Stories. Xenosaga was Monolith.
spirited away Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Tri-Ace have done games like Star Ocean, Valkryie Profile and Radiate Stories. Xenosaga was Monolith. Yer Tri-Crescendo where the guy's working on the Baiten Kaitos Series. Anyways that trailer was hilarious: " innuendo dive!". Really looks pretty dull to me (apart from the pre-rendered cinematics). Daft is the battle-system anything new/exciting? Or does it follow the familiar trend? Is it me or if you've played one JPRG you've practically played them all?

Goron_3 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Looks very much like ToS (apart from the graphical style). If reviews are nice i think i'll check it out

Hero-of-Time Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Not long til this bad boy is out. I have preordered the game but im still a little unsure about it. Heres a preview from GT. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/38435.html
Dan_Dare Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 *yawn* fucks sake, Japan. Do something new? please? Just once.
Daft Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 *yawn* fucks sake, Japan. Do something new? please? Just once. You sound like me at work.
Dan_Dare Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 haha I can imagine. Guh. All these games look identical. I know the Japanese love their franchises an shit, but really! The whole genre is a stagnant mess that's not actually moved on since the SNES was doing the rounds. I don't care that the stories are 'epic'- they're all utterly preposterous junk about teenagers saving the world or some shit like that. It's awful! Where are the epics about...well anything else?
darksnowman Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Not long til this bad boy is out. I have preordered the game but im still a little unsure about it. Heres a preview from GT. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/38435.html I just gave it a watch. The backdrops and scenery in Infinite Undiscovery look gorgeous.
Daft Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 There are a couple errors in that preview. Like you can't actually block. When I actually got a chance to complete the retail version (where I found a couple bugs, don't blame me I was only on it for the last two weeks.) I found it a lot of fun. I really enjoyed some parts of the story that weren't completely generic.
Roostophe Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 My brother's told me that he's pre-ordered this. Fair enough, this looks quite good.
