Ok can someone give me the long explanation they gave.... I ermm want to watch Genshiken and the website is down..... This is pissing me off. ; ;

DB say they're annoyed because people keep putting their stuff on youtube/veoh which could lead to them getting caught.

 

It could just be another troll to explain some downtime they had coming up, or to trick people during the gap in Bleach or Naruto.

 

That said it was a really long, detailed and sensible newspost with none of their usual tongue in cheek jokes, like "DB HQ, New York" or "Seven of our members have already been arrested and/or killed", which is something they'd usually include if it was a troll.

No one else has subbed the final episode at the very least. The message they left says they will be down forever or for a while? I really hope they haven't decided to call it quits. o.o;; They are one of the only groups that are actually reliable with releases. lol Right now I'm hoping for it to be some christmas break thing. Hmmm.

Just watching some late night Bleech on Anime Central cuz i can't sleep, and seen an advert for Gundam Seed, it's starting on Jan 5th, i hope they show Destiny straight after it as I still haven't got round to watching that...and gives a good excuse to re-watch Seed

Watched half off School days early this morning before I went to sleep. I really like it, but i'm sure I won't like the ending. I found out i'm a bit off a sucker for Romance anime now

 

Anyway I accidently seen a bit of the last episode. Media player was on random and was doing my teeth and came back and seen a bit.

 

Sekai backs away with blood over her.

 

 

I really don't want a sad ending now cause it even disturbed me when I was trying to sleep. I kept seeing some characters in my head then woke up all the time and couldn't get comfortable.

 

Gonna watch the last 6 now. I'm dreading it...

If that's the case, maybe you should consider to stop watching anime for a while.

Talk about the ending being extreme. I mean I know I didn't like some characters or anything cause they annoyed me at times but really was there really any need to do what they did. I can't help but feel bad about those 2.

 

I mean she didn't have to kill Makoto and she didn't have to chop if his head and hug it and kill Saiko and see if she was really pregnant. But some girls were real bitches though.

 

I seriously can't help but feel bad for Kotonoha and even him...It's such a shame it happened. I mean they didn't have to kill people, even the endings from the game wasn't that bad they could of just used one of those instead, but no they had to have people go on killing sprees.

Er... that ending was fairly standard, lots of them are like that.

"Eternally" (「永遠に」, Eien ni?)[1]

 

Sekai and Makoto are in love and decide to tell Kotonoha about it. Kotonoha handles it very badly, even begging Makoto to date her again in Makoto's apartment. He apologizes to her and declines. Afterwards, Kotonoha quietly tells them that they will never be happy together. As Sekai and Makoto leave the apartment, Kotonoha's phone falls and shatters on the floor. They then witness how Kotonoha throws herself off the ledge of the apartment, landing head first on the pavement and dying. Just before she hits the ground, Sekai and Makoto see briefly how her eyes are completely lifeless. The epilogue shows Makoto in front of Kotonoha's grave. It is revealed that he broke up with Sekai, finished high school, is now working with his mom and has never had a girlfriend since.

One day while Kotonoha and Makoto are having sex, Makoto tries to comfort Kotonoha and tells her that she is the only one for him, and that Sekai is good for nothing. Sekai overhears this and becomes enraged. Six months later, Makoto and Kotonoha are on a walk outside, with her talking about having a baby. When they part, Sekai, now pregnant, appears and stabs Makoto in the gut with a butcher knife. After a few words from Makoto, Sekai becomes terrified at what she has just done and runs off. Makoto slowly walks from the beach, leaving a trail of blood behind him, and he eventually dies.

 

"The Bloody Conclusion" (「鮮血の結末」, Senketsu no Ketsumatsu?)

 

Sekai and Makoto are in love. One day, Kotonoha overhears Makoto and Sekai loudly making love to each other, which in turn emotionally destroys her. She spends several hours on her own, emotionally dead, until she suddenly snaps in the snow and laughs maniacally. The next day as they leave the train station where the three always commute, they meet Kotonoha on an overpass beside the station. There is an awkward moment as Sekai lets go of Makoto's arm, greeting her. Kotonoha says a few words, before revealing a saw hidden behind her school bag and swipes it beside Sekai's neck. After a few seconds of realizing what had just happened, Sekai suddenly bleeds violently and collapses in a pool of blood in front of Kotonoha and Makoto. Kotonoha starts laughing hysterically again, her lifeless eyes revealing that she has completely broken down.

 

There are plenty of less extreme endings though.

Yea there's quite a few bad endings but not as extreme as the anime. Which was 'Woah'. I would of liked it if it was similiar to one of the better endings to the game and he stayed with Kotonoha. Sekai just went about everything the wrong way.

 

It's a shame for Kotonaha though, she got played alone for ages, got raped and broke down, then finally when she became more normal, her boyfriend goes and get's murdered.

 

Was quite dramatic and good how the deaths got done with the eyes,camera andthe music starting when the killing began.

 

Do you think the last words 'Thank Goodness' meant he was happy she kept the baby or got rid of it? She stopped immediatly afterwards and was clinging on to where the baby would be. Even though he wanted her to get an abortion part of me thought he was glad she was pregnant.

Frankly, by the time I got to the end of the show, I hated all the characters so much that I wasn't too bothered by their fates.

At the end I still liked her, she just made some bad choices but she didn't deserve what happened to her at the end of the series. Does anyone know what the OVA is about apart from the title which says it's about Kokoro.

 

I'm downloading the game just now to see if there is any English subs but because of the size it will be done in a couple of days (7.9GB)

Ah, that I didn't know. I thought it was just like the anime but you make choices to get a different ending...

 

I'll see what it's like and if I can barely understand then i'll leave it or see if my little Japanese knowledge will help me.

Man, watched 8 episodes of Death Note in a row, up to episode 19 now and loving it!

 

Didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I have done, will have to pace myself with watching it, as only 18 episodes left!

 

Anyone know when the DVD's will be released in the UK?

Really? It seems pointless? I can understand it not being to your taste, but surely you can find the logic considering the typical fanbase

Dmn read a review of the game and there's no translations for it I think since the choices you have to make appear where the subs should be. I watched the 3 'bad' endings and picked up some it but would be so much easier if I could understand it all.

Well yeah, but in the vast majority of cases, it adds nothing to the story. Take something like Tsukihime - "Now we must save the world, but first must come the obligatory sex scene to satisfy the otaku!" But yeah, I'd rather not have it even if it was a valid part of the story. (as in School Days)
