soag Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 What a sad day, the two ronnies brightned up a many a winters day for me. Legends he will be missed.
Cubechris Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Are you serious Well it would be a pretty sick jock other wise. :( Legend.
Daniel Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 porridge is probobly one of my favourite sitcoms - that or fawlty towers.
Bowser57 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 He's only died once, why are there still two threads? Edit: NM, all's well now. (Apart from him being dead).
Charlie Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 A sad day indeed. I love "Porrdige," Ronnie Barker's awesome.
Sarka Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Owwwww, I'm so sad now, that's dperessing. He's so funny.
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 EEvil, such a tactful thread title........ Well I did consider the name "Roses are red, violets are blue, Ronnie Barker's dead, no fork handles for you", but thought it a little tasteless.
The Peeps Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 shame. I saw the last show he did, a Christmas special of the Two Ronnies Showcase filmed in June... I think it was June anyway :P was sometime this year. Glad I got to see him before he died.
Apple_NdiB Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Well I did consider the name "Roses are red, violets are blue, Ronnie Barker's dead, no fork handles for you", but thought it a little tasteless. I'm sure he would've appreciated it. (Not that I have a comprehensive understanding of the man's inner workings, but he didn't seem to take himself too seriously, which is IMO always the sign of a good comic).
GoonFace Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 RIP, he will be missed greatly. A true legend.
Sooj Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 ah well, new stars are born while old stars die. I feel nothing, don't really care. Loads of people died today. meh I may sound cold-hearted or whatever but meh, I'm not gonna pretend that I feel sad. :P
