Ness was a useless character for newbies. If you didn't know how to use his moves, then you were dead. He was not a character like, say, Mario, that you could just pick up and play with. And Captain Falcon was just a weaker and faster clone of Ganondorf (or vice versa)

twas vice versa, some one missed out on the origional smash bros!

god thinking back to the ogrigional, how good was it? me and my mate were kings on it, putting the 3 cpu caracters up to level 9 on a team against which ever one of us played, all weapons on high, and we wernt alowed to use em, this was training for us.

training for what im not sure, i think we only had a couple of actual fights against each outher on it, prefering to be a team.

hope it comes out on the VC!

Am I the only one who thought of the Asterix books when I saw this picture?

Anyway, for some reason, I didn't like this Final Smash as much as the others, but having your personal powerful Unown army is certainly helpful.

Can't wait to see the next ones.

Yeah but falcon is better than Ganondorf.

I think so, and it also confirms that she won't be playable.

yeah i was just confirming if it was her, i don't think she'll be playable, but she's prolly in pit's story mode thingie.

and i wonder if the music changes when you use a FS? it could play an epic version of their theme or sometin'

Uhmmm it seems you changed your mind?

Nope, I never played Kid Icarus for the NES, which is why I want to download it. However, the second game in the series, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy, was my very first video game, which is why Pit holds a special place in my heart. Plus, he is simply awsome in Brawl, now even more with his Final Smash, which fans of the series will enjoy even more.

They made so much work in Pit and Palutena's redesign (and a really awesome work). I seriously hope they will make a Kid Icarus wii.

So tomorrow update have to be Peach (or another character)!! If not, the one character per week pattern will be broken creating a dimensional perturbation that will completely destroy the whole universe.

Anyone else think that a Kid Icarus sequel could be a perfect launch title for WiiWare? It's the sort of thing I don't think would work in full 3-D, but a NSMB art style and Nunchuk movement/Pointer controls would work nicely, and shouldn't be too expensive to make.

If they made a Kid Icarus game I hope it's different to the platformer/Zelda/Metroid game on the NES. Nintendo systems are full of those, something original would be much cooler.

Well it'd probably be much more focused on air combat to separate it from stuff like Metroid. Actually I guess it'd be closer to what people originally wanted from a 3d Metroid before it ended up first person.
