mario_jr Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Developers have said they are similiar 360 and ps3 now, but later on 360 they carn't do anymore especially as the disk size is low then the PS3 will be more powerful and G4 (games channel in US) have compared the technical specs and have said that the cell has some form of GPU in there already meaning that its the physics element developers want which the 360 carn't do. For crist sakes the guys who did Full Auto have said PS3 has better graphics better options than the 360 architecture Can you say "Graphics Whore":indeed:

Hero-of-Time Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 For everyone who uses a router to connect to XboxLive, what make/model is it? Mines a Netgear and I have never had any trouble with it at all.

ZeldaFreak Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Can you say "Graphics Whore" Games need 5 things: 1. Good Graphics 2. Good Audio 3. Good Gameplay 4. Good Storyline 5. Good Controls P.S. People have been posting anti-Sony things like they lied on specs and all that. Well I have something for you, Microsoft said in NA and Europe there would be 80 games by June 30th - they lied they'll only be 40 games for retail. You may say its Live games and retail games -with less than half of people who own one of these consoles are not on Live maybe that so you these developers should be releasing games in shops not downloading them, since the HDD is way to small at least 60GB they should of thought when designing the console not 20GB
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Woah ZeldaFreak! You live in Newcastle? We should have sex sometime.
Hero-of-Time Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Woah ZeldaFreak! You live in Newcastle? We should have sex sometime. Is that an open invitation? Anyways a game does now need good graphics to be good at all. You saying that Mario Bros 3 is a shoddy game because it is graphically inferior to todays games?
CompSci Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 huzzah! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8285819095&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
The3rdChildren Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Games need 5 things: 1. Good Graphics 2. Good Audio 3. Good Gameplay 4. Good Storyline 5. Good Controls I don't think a game needs all of those things to be what could be considered good. Audio in Xbox 360 games has been made redundant by the ability to play whatever music you like during a game. Mario games have virtually no storyline and those are still fantastic. Halo 2's storyline can be skipped in favour of the multiplayer and still be a good game.
Caris Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 All those things help a game to be good, but as the3rdchildren said some arnt essential (sp).
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Is that an open invitation? Yeah, to Caris aswell
Fierce_LiNk Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Games need 5 things: 1. Good Graphics 2. Good Audio 3. Good Gameplay 4. Good Storyline 5. Good Controls I find it highly amusing how Good Graphics come right at the top of your list. Gameplay itself came third, which shows that you value looks and sound more than gameplay and controls. You and the PS3 should suit each other nicely.
Charlie Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Mine is a Linksys Wireless WAG54GS and it works great with my 360 and DS SNAP! Games need 5 things: 1. Good Graphics 2. Good Audio 3. Good Gameplay 4. Good Storyline 5. Good Controls What's the best way to put a storyline into a racing game like PGR?
Fierce_LiNk Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 From what i remember, Tetris didn't have a storyline. Yet, that is arguably one of the greatest games ever created.
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 ao im not invited then... fine 4 people? That's crazy. So crazy, that it just might etc.
