Posted November 21, 2011 Signed onto the Fall Dashboard preview program the other week, had the updates sent down and am using the preview dash. Comparing it to the NXE dash, it is pretty good. Still able to use the themes from previous purchases. Anyone else signed onto the Fall Dashboard program??.

Posted November 21, 2011 I remember reading about a zoom thing for Kinect a while ago, is this it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nyko-Zoom-Lens-Kinect-Required/dp/B005OL72SS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Also anyone used it? Thinking of getting it for my granddad for Christmas as he had to move his Kinect into the living room due to space issues.
Posted November 21, 2011 I think I remember the Giant Bomb guys talking about that and how it just doesnt work very well at all. Looking at the customer reviews it doesnt seem to be getting good feedback either.

Posted November 23, 2011 I did but forgot about it. The interface is very nice. Oh it is nice. I can see why they've done it like this, obviously to make it more Kinect-appealing but still. It is good, and if i was given a chance to go back to the old design, i'd say no.
Posted November 23, 2011 Does cloud saving allow you access download content from another console if you load the Gamertag from the cloud?
Posted November 23, 2011 Even though it's designed with Kinect in mind, I think it's also much more controller-friendly than the previous one.
Posted November 23, 2011 Does cloud saving allow you access download content from another console if you load the Gamertag from the cloud? Doubt it, Download content is on license to the console it was downloaded to. Sometimes Gamertag as well.

Posted November 24, 2011 Had set-up a network bridge between my 360 and PC, and now it buggered up and won't work at all. Even if i set it up again from scratch, it won't work. It's the problem with the slim, the wireless isn't that good, so may need a wireless adaptor for it.
Posted November 25, 2011 Get homeplugs instead if you've got £35 spare and a free mains socket near your router. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004INVKP4/ref=nosim/?tag=hotukdeals-
Posted November 25, 2011 May invest in them, they do look like they'll do the job. From the sounds of it, i would need to plug one downstairs next to the router and the other upstairs near the 360/PC. Now then, just need 2 double plug sockets and voila!!!. Posted November 26, 2011 http://www.thedaily.com/page/2011/11/23/112311-tech-news-kinect/ Microsoft are planning on getting Kinect integrated into TVs. They're working with manufacturers like Sony to get it done.

Posted November 26, 2011 Sony's going to agree to put Kinect in TVs? That seems a bit strange... Thinking about it some more, I think Microsoft are trying to get Kinect used outside gaming. So it's not really much stranger than a Sony laptop running Windows. Or Sony film franchises having multi-platform games.
