The fish Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Wasn't the wavebird like £35, for a very long time?? Yes, but a Wavebird was newer tech, and you use it to have fun.
Dante Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Uh, the Wii controller costs more than that. Well the Wii-mote has rumble. Without a doubt. Better than the Wii and 360 line up combined by miles. Kind of funny that near all the best games are Sega.
CompSci Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 does any one know if sonic the hedgehog has been improved for the PS3? i.e bug fixes, load times etc?
Nintenchris Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 does any one know if sonic the hedgehog has been improved for the PS3? i.e bug fixes, load times etc? Supposedly its just....... LOADING......... as bad as the 360 version
zaraki Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Can you recharge the PSP using the USB cable connected to the pc?
Chuck Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 mine doesnt, just transfers files in 'usb mode'
zaraki Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 guess not then. Another thing, how do you get the battery out? :|
Meik Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Flip the PSP over, it's behind the removeable flap on the left hand side. There's a gap at the top of it, it just pulls straight out. Also no, you cannot recharge via USB.
immy Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 does any one know if sonic the hedgehog has been improved for the PS3? i.e bug fixes, load times etc? give up the fight, sonics long dead
Goron_3 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Erm the wii-mote is £30. PS3 controller is £35. your maths is playing with your mind mate, because the last time i checked, that would make the Wii-mote cheaper.
Tellyn Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Erm the wii-mote is £30. Anyway, Wiimote has FULL motion sensing, rumble, a speaker, optional plug-in accessories - and a sexy white gleam. So in my eyes it's better value.
Domstercool Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Well since most games will be making you have a Nuchuck and a Remote. It's safe to say it will cost you £45 for the combo on your Wii. While it is different and cooler, it's certainly should be cheaper though.
Charlie Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Yes, but a Wavebird was newer tech, and you use it to have fun. The SIXAXIS has new technology in it too, and I'm pretty sure that people using it will have fun.
rokhed00 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 The SIXAXIS has new technology in it too You sure about that, I thought it was just the same stuff as Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble.
That Guy Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Well since most games will be making you have a Nuchuck and a Remote. It's safe to say it will cost you £45 for the combo on your Wii. While it is different and cooler, it's certainly should be cheaper though. I totally agree with this, for me a Wii controller should be remote and nunchuk. It's £45 for a Wii controller and £35 for a PS3 one. Wii controller might be better but both are still over priced.
MrRon Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 NO PORN! Sony will not allow BD to be used by pornographers. Isn't that what PS2 was used for, mostly? If you fancy an HD wank then you'd better get a 360!
AshMat Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 NO PORN! Sony will not allow BD to be used by pornographers. Isn't that what PS2 was used for, mostly? If you fancy an HD wank then you'd better get a 360! The PSP was sued for pr0n. Anyway, that's not a bad line up, plenty of games to keep people happy.
Cube Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 You sure about that, I thought it was just the same stuff as Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble. It's the same type of motion sensor as the Nunchuck.
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Erm the wii-mote is £30. PS3 controller is £35. your maths is playing with your mind mate, because the last time i checked, that would make the Wii-mote cheaper. Yes. But any game worth playing uses the nunchuk also, meaning it costs more than £35 (Although most Wii games are just rubish mini game collections that only use the remote, admittedly). Do you understand now? I don't have much patience, so I won't be going over it again i'm afraid.
Dante Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 The difference between prices of consoles. Caris Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 OmGzzz, 6AxI$ @ 35£$£$£! It's not a rip off, as has been said, just a few more quid than the 360's pad.
AshMat Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I wish people would stop saying "OMGZZ WE GETZ RIPED OFF". Complaining won't change a thing, plus, the people complaining bought the damn thing anyway, so it's obviously not that bad a price. (Wii that is). Yes the PS3 is a lot of money, but if people want it, they will buy it.
Charlie Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Sony & Nintendo rips of UK but Microsoft dont. People in the UK are prepared to pay a lot for a brand name whereas they aren't in America. That's why we have to pay so much more for it, they might as well charge as more if we're happy to pay more for it. You also have to take in account VAT which is 17.5% extra straight off.
m_fergy Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Its not even Sony fault or anyone else's for that matter Its the UK government, They hammer us with TAX I just got a PS3 for £330 off VGP and there going to be £425 over here that £95 for nothing, its excatly the same machine, There prob even cheaper again in Jap
Caris Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Sony & Nintendo rips of UK but Microsoft dont. Wrong. 10char
