There's another one?

Lets take bets then :heh:

Was surprised to find out UK was banned. Never would of guessed that was him. Though to be honest it does kinda make sense.

It explains how he knew so much, always said he knew way too much about the forum's past.

EDIT: Man, one last ban eh?

Why tommorow? DO IT NAO!

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

All credit to Dante for the joke. ;)

How did UK even get this far anyway without being found out if he had the same IP?

And after we accused him multiple times of having duplicate accounts.

Well all these bollocks has undermined whatever the administration of these boards were trying to do. Odwin didn't help with the mcj thingy, makes the admins look like they're trying to find the slightest thing to try and prove that they are justice. When we've all already made our own minds up about what we think of the 'new order' that is now controlling the boards, for better or worse.

No wonder i've stopped posting so much with all this shit flying around, i don't do scat yaknow!

Can't believe UK was TheGannondorf. He was one of the people I least expected to be banned. Wasn't he accused of being TheGannondorf when he signed up and then the admins said he had a different IP or something.

Why's motion banned? (apologies if the answer's obvious)

Spamming, flaming, obsene language, insulting other members, insulting staff etc. etc.

Basically every one of our rules bar posting porn

You could apply that to quite a few members. I don't think motion warrants a straight ban more than anyone else. Also motion never spammed and use obscene language about as much as the next person.

He got 2 infractions, one for insulting (flaming, same thing) a member and one for insulting a mod (and that wasn't a one way thing).

Bottom line is motion was banned and it doesn't add up.

The main reason I thought Motion was banned was for repeatedly insulting a staff member. I don't see why you're all still here repeating the same things over and over and over.

Now, please read this. It's time all this stopped:

Several of you have just constantly posted "but I don't get why he was banned" or "it's not fair" over the last ten pages. Your message has been recieved loud and clear repeatedly. Your questions HAVE been answered. We can not tell you any more than we have because we have told you the truth. We have listed our reasoning, we have stated our case. Nothing is going to change.

I'm starting to think you're just trying to raise your postcount. LET IT GO. Move on. Go back to Wii/DS/Other Consoles/Tech/Creative/General Chit-chat or whatever and put some of this energy into creating some great threads to help us improve the N-E forums.

If I didn't care about the forums then I wouldn't have bothered to make any suggestions or constructive criticisms at all. I would have just mindlessly complained like a few other muppets around here. I'm kind of offended at your thought of me trying to raise my postcount, its a number, I don't really care. If you want, roll it back down to zero. However I do care about the community and I'm sure you've noticed that a gap has arisen between those in power such as your self and the rest of us.

You don't seem to be listening to what the community wants and I'm sure you agree that this isn't a healthy route, but nor is banning members. Granted it is sometimes unavoidable but a lot of us here don't think it was in the case of motion. There is a complete break down in dialogue, I might as well be talking to a brick wall and that shouldn't be the case. Its not helpful when (Just an example) Mr Odwin suddenly appears telling us to deal with it. We are trying to deal with it, we genuinely think you have made a mistake. I have no idea where this practice of stubbornness comes from but within any society there is always going to be a need for discussion and appeasement that at the moment isn't happening.

Is it really that crazy an idea to give motion a second chance? As Conzer so brilliantly quotes in his sig,

"I have always found that mercy bears richer fruits than strict justice."

What Daft has just, very elegantly, put is exactly how i feel about this. This isn't the right time for being ignorant to the one thing which makes this forum fun, not it's staff (which have done a great job in the past), but it's members. Without them, this site would be nothing.
