Oxigen_Waste Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 *quietly claps like Bishop in the last scene of "waiting..."* Ahhh... the memories!
Hem Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Found a stream for Juno. Watching tonight... ship it? Well shit me, that was dissapointing... a solid 6/10 in my eyes but expected much more.
killthenet Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Yeah, same here. It's a highly entertaining film, but definately nowhere near the classic everyone made it out to be. Some of the dialogue is downright awful and Juno is far more annoying than everyone seems to think. Still, Michael Cera and Jason Bateman were fantastic, well the cast overall were what carried the film really - that and the music. In fact it was probably the presence of Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground and The Moldy Peaches that made the film so entertaining for me.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Bicentennial Man last night. I squeezed out a few tears at the end. I'm not ashamed.
killthenet Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Bicentennial Man is literally the most depressing thing i've ever seen. "I want to get fake kidneys so that I can die". Great.
Noodleman Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 The Big Lebowski it's just...great Thats like your opinion man.
Dog-amoto Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Predator. Freaking awesome. That's all I need to say... Well, I've got something to say about it.... GET TO DA CHOPPAH! 9 rats almost exterminated by the Predator out of 10.
Esequiel Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Brewsters Millions Funny film, keeps you laughing and has stood the test of time. Its about a guy who inherits $300 million from his long lost uncle. To get it though he has to spend $30 million in one month. Luz ensue. 8.5/10
Dan_Dare Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Thats like your opinion man. :bouncy: :bouncy:
Davey_T Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Juno Ellen Page was brilliant but the film was pretty bad. And to be up for all those awards is a joke
ReZourceman Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Juno Ellen Page was brilliant but the film was pretty bad. And to be up for all those awards is a joke Congratulations, you have the worst taste in films out of anyone in histroy.
ReZourceman Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Show me the proof, until then I deem you liars. Good day sirs.
Davey_T Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Congratulations, you have the worst taste in films out of anyone in histroy. What was so amazing about it then?
ReZourceman Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 What was so amazing about it then? The monster and stuff. Edit;/ Not deleting to show what an idiot I am, Im getting confused between threads/Cloverfield/Shutupitsbeenalongday. - Acting was amazing/perfect - Extremely heart warmingly awesome - Touching story - Nice characters - Uberly uber.
killthenet Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Cause, cause they had that line "honest to blog" and Juno was a dick, but she was still loveable and sweet really. Oh and it had that guy from The American Office in it and some sub Ghost World stuff about how 'freaks' are better than jocks and other popular kids, which I thought was so original and insightful. Also it was sooooo anti-abortionz, which I loved.
Oxigen_Waste Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 It's got personality. Anyway There Will Be Blood Daniel Day Lewis is god. Such a shame that God is a superstition. I don't really have much to say, it's fantastic in every single way. There are no flaws that I can detect. And remember... everyone has a price. 9.5/10 And yes, there was blood.
Hellfire Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Thats like your opinion man. Genious. Fucking genious.
MadDog Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Dejavu 10/10 Awesome. I love denzel washington after watching this
Oxigen_Waste Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Dejavu10/10 Awesome. I love denzel washington after watching this Wow there friendo, chill your engines!: peace:
Guest Stefkov Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Jumper The concept was brilliant. I loved it, reminded me of Portal and the Nightcrawler in one. The story was fast and you had to keep watching. I think for me it ranks number one with the least dialogue in a film, that I've seen. 8/10
triforcemario Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Scarface. Say hello to my little friend. 10 cocaine drived frenzies out of 10.
Slaggis Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Zodiac Great movie, kept me interested all the way through. The start was brilliant, though part the way through it seemed like it was going off track a little, but then he last 50 minutes or so were fantastic. The bit where he says "Before I kill you I'm going to throw your baby out the window" was really freaky! 8.2/10
