I'm not sure if I can even explain why but all I know is that I watched and loved what I saw. 10/10 Good man! I got the trilogy lined up for a rewatch after my exams end. I plan to watch the other two at some point as well, gonna see if I can fit them in within the one month love film trial I have atm, got a couple of weeks left on it. Plus, anything with Dick Van Dyke in must be decent at least. Posted May 24, 2009 Back to Back animes Steamboy-8/10 a enjoyable film all around. Akira-9/10 See Steamboy rating, but add Classic in there somewhere. Really if you like anime, even just occasionally, you outta watch both of these. I'd suggest Akira first, the only reason I wastch Steamboy first was because I'd only seen it once before compared to the multiple viewings I've already had with Akira. But Jal and Michelle from Skins are in it so I'm watching :p I found out that Tormented was filmed in Sutton Coldfield and the cast stayed in Aston University...Damn! Yeah, I have yet to see Politics but was very excited when Fame came out on DVD... Ironic that he was sort of doing an ego heavy stand-up and in the end the cockiness and over reliance on swearing made made the thing shit. Michael Mcintyre is hilarious and he barely swears in his stand-ups. In fact when he does swear it doesn't really work, unless it suits the moment or story. 'Think prick, say tut!' Posted May 25, 2009 (edited) Cherry Falls This is why I keep telling everyone that being a massive slut is the way to go. Killer decides to kill any teenager that's a virgin in this little town, and therefore the film concludes with the college students deciding a sex party is the way to go. Big twist half way through concerning the killer, which was fun. Suprisingly good, for a vaguely low budget 90's horror flick. I got genuinly freaked during the first proper chase too, which is always a good sign. Doesn't sound embarrassing to me but then again, I'm a guy who doesn't hardly get embarrassed, lmao.
