Shorty
Maybe you should take it back in case a hidden camera show is following your every move to see if you do the right thing. If you don't, you'll be branded an immoral theif, if you do, you'll get 100 free games and a trip to Hawaii!
Mr_Odwin
Just to make this clear, this hasn't actually happened to me. I would ring up the company and tell them what had happened. All you guys that would keep it are going to burn in hell forever. Oh yes.
MunKy
I dont believe in hell. Im just gonna rot or sit on a mantle peice in an urn.
BGS
Ring them up and tell them about it. You never know, they might say to you that you might as well keep it. If they did then you'd feel much better about yourself and the free game.

Haden
Amazon sent me two copies of a DVD once. They asked for the 2nd one back but gave me a £5 gift certificate for the trauma it caused me. Winner! I was going to sue them if they hadn't, the 2 dvds instead of 1 thing really upset me.

Charlie
Here's a little strory for you. Once there was a boy, who visited a big department store on a field trip. He bought an RC car. But after the purchase he found out that he was given way too much money back. He then went to the cashier to explain the problem and thanks to his honesty. He was given the RC car for free and a gift token for the shop. That would work if you were 5 years old, but not if your Mr Odwins age
Bogbas
A good point, but still I think that honesty is a good value to have. Even if you don't get any personal gain from it.
Katie
I'd probably send it back, as long as they sent a stamp addressed envelope. A couple of weeks ago I bought 2 sandwiches in Sainsburys that came to £4, and paid with a £5 note. The cashier gave me £4 change so I said err the sandwiches cost £4. She quickly took the money back and said sorry, then she handed me £9! I still just took the £1 though.
Athriller
Keep it. Spice it up with Callicles and declare morality to be a conspiracy of the weak. Ride into the setting sun, my friend, and don't look back.
kopo
I don't believe that people who aren't honest are going to burn in hell or whatever. It's not the nicest thing to do, but as long as it gain something without affecting someone directly, lie away. Except with people you know well, trust and all that... Raining_again
Yeah keep it. Someone i know got two DVD rewriters instead of one (for 40 quid!) and he rang the company, and they said keep it. Costs them as much to get it sent back anyway!
Towers
Make sure you haven't been charged and then keep. Sorry guys but it's too much hassle. Ring them up, tell them all about what happened. Send it back. Screw it. It's one game, lifes a bitch and sometimes nice things happen. Just keep it, the world ain't going to end if you do. mario114
Personaly i would phone them up and tell them, but i would refuse to pay postage sending it back.
Pestneb
once I purchased 3 games, only one came through, and they didn't charge me for the postage. I figure they'll charge me for the postage when they send the other two games. That was 2 years ago though, and I've since cancelled the card I had used. hmm. Domo Kun
If you want to get into heavan, then ebay it and give the money to charity.
Ramar
All you guys that would keep it are going to burn in hell forever. Oh yes. Slightly extreme. If you can prove to me god dislikes us keeping freely sent mistakes, then I'll start going to church.
Mokong
If they don't ask for it back i say keep it, hell i doubt they even noticed. Reminds me of the time a months ago here in Ireland there was an atm that had 20euro notes put into the 10euro storage, when people found out loads of them were queing up taking out 10euro at a time but getting 20's, the bank did ask for the money back, but i don't think anyone did. sidenote: unfortunatly no the atm in question was not near me
Domo Kun
Seriously though, in my opinion, if you bought it from a small company, send it back. If you bought it from a rich company, keep it. But I'm such a hippy/socialist.
KingJoe
I'd feel better if I sent it back. I like to think I'd do it. I probably wouldn't, though. I'm too lazy. It's probably just gather dust on a shelf while I was to lazy to sell it.
Haver
When I ordered my Xbox from Game.net a few Christmases ago I had a right old deal proving to them that while they had included my games and TWO Xbox Live Starter Kits, they hadn't sent out the console. I really had to argue. So I would send it back, because it's the Honest Guy who gets it in the neck.
The3rdChildren
If they aren't going to charge you, and you're going to feel guilty then sell the game and give the money to charity if you don't want to send it back. I think it's pretty honourable that you're feeling so bad about this.
demonmike04
They obviously didnt pay attention to you and sent in although you had cancelled it, so why pay attention to them? Its too much of a hassle sending it back, unless your gonna get charged for it.
