BowserBasher Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Ah yes, more new sets. Really need to get the older ones before they start to become harder to get too. But I do love the look of these new Luigis Mansion sets. At least they are not all of the £50+ price range.
BowserBasher Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 I now have all of the first wave. Managed to get Boos Haunted Yard and the Fortress for next to retail price. Was going to get them from Lego store just after the new year but they have stopped selling them on there. Have been lucky to find them elsewhere. So I have some of the second wave to get and the new Luigis Mansion ones. I may not have room to set them up at the moment but I want to keep on top of them so I don't end up having to pay too much. 1
Dufniall Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 And the Lego x Mario onslaught continues: My brother has two kids, a boy and a girl. The boy is still wild about Lego Mario and recently got Luigi, but the girl kind of stopped having interest. I'm guessing this will draw her right back in, smart move from Nintendo to get Peach involved! 1
BowserBasher Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 OK, that castle is pretty cool. Could have been a cool normal build too, but this looks pretty good. Still need to start of the new sets, haven't gotten any yet.

BowserBasher Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 I'm still going for a full set, Have all the originals and just need to start on the next lot. Found a site that says some sets will be available till July and end of the year the rest of the set will be retired. So still got time.

Helmsly Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) There's a little video showing the figure off, they've made Bowser pose-able/movable, can interact with Lego Mario and he can shoot out a little fireball: https://twitter.com/LEGO_Group/status/1545040775968440320?s=20&t=EqW9dB-ud_UKLxVcu0hlCw Edited July 7, 2022 by Helmsly 2
Ashley Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Anyone else think he looks very gentle and unintimidating?

BowserBasher Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 I posted that in the main Lego thread. It's a day one purchase for me. He looks awesome.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 I was in Smyths today and seen they were selling the mini figures for £3 a piece. I picked up 4 of them.... Very happy to have got Toad and Nabbit and not to have picked up any duplicates. I'm surprised how big they are. 3
BowserBasher Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I've picked up a few of these, Have Nabbit too and my girlfriend recently picked me up 6 of them as she saw a 6 for £25, so I said grab me some. 1
Ike Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 Bowser dropped to £129 at Amazon (and, I think, at Very). https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-71411-building-toy/dp/B09QFK3R2N/
