Nicktendo Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 I'm going to include @dwarf's vote because a shake up at the top is always a good thing, especially considering how PAINSTAKINGLY close it is in the top 10, and more votes means more accurate results, amirite? (Plus his vote doesn't affect the results that have already been announced, so that's nice) Here's your next batch of results, beautiful people. Spoiler Wario Land 4 (GBA) Moving on, we have the games that managed four points and are tied in 73rd place: Spoiler Advance Wars (GBA) Golden Sun (GBA) Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS) Mario Golf 64 (N64) Mario Kart: Double Dash (GCN) Mario Party (N64) Metroid: Other M (Wii) Mother / Earthbound Beginnings (NES) Pilotwings Resort (3DS) Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (SNES) Confession: One game was due to appear on the list above, until I realised some people had used its US name, and others had used its (infinitely more stupid) EU name. Damn you, NOE. So while these games are all tied in 73rd place, the results already mentioned above for three, two and one point respectively can be bumped by one place... If I could edit those posts I would, but alas, we are still bearing the brunt of awful marketing decisions some 20 years later. 3 3 1
Hero-of-Time Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 I approve of the Mario Party picture. 1 1
Nicktendo Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Here's a little bit more for you as I enjoy my lunch break. Ronnie Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Yep, the Switch needs a Pilotwings game, a 3DS port or preferably a new one. 1

I love Pilotwings Resort I say this basically every time the mention of a new one comes up but I'd love another one set on Wu-Hu with different seasons and weather conditions with loads of things to see and do depending on these factors. I'm eager to see versions of the island covered in Autumn leaves or Winter snow 1

Also, the game with the worst title of all time, arguably one of the most influential games of the past 20 years, and finally a game I can guarantee* no-one has ever played on original hardware (you filthy pirates!). *Probably, but not 100% Spoiler Banjo-Tooie (N64) Chibi-Robo! Ronnie Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Quote So good! I have a real soft spot for Mode 7 SNES games
Dcubed Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 (edited) Love the Tetris, Mario Sunshine and Wii Sports pic choices I will never not be impressed by Pilotwings SNES' illusion of depth. I first played it in 2010 when it came out on Wii and I was floored at how convincingly it conveyed the sense of a 3D landscape with nary but a scaling/rotating 2D background! Truly impressive! Glen-i Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 (edited) Oh god, every mainline Pokemon from here on out is going to infuriate me to no end! How the hell did R/S beat B/W!? At least the Mario Kart 64 GIF cheered me up! The Mario Sunshine pic gave me some mild PTSD though. So many hours... gone. Edited October 19, 2017 by Glen-i 1

Nicktendo Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 More games? More games. Let's talk about games. About the TOP games. As voted for by our now ever more so appreciated community of gamers. I'm going to put my serious hat on now, because we are talking about some top games which amassed 10 points and are tied in 36th place. 10 points is a special number, because two of our members voted these games as their favourite, all time best Nintendo games of all time, ever. High praise. Unfortunately, they were alone in this high praise, but if someone on N-E says it's the best, it's a damn good game! Let's check them out.... dwarf Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 @Nicktendo Any chance of reviving this? I'm only pestering you because it's been good fun. 2
Nicktendo Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Yes! I apologise to the N-E collective that there haven't been any updates recently. I moved to a new flat about a month ago and don't have anywhere decent to set up my PC yet, so I've been using my phone for N-Eing. I've also been extra busy with work and spending almost all my downtime on Rocket League and Skyrim. I keep putting off setting everything up, but I will do it as soon as I have some free time and get the rest of the list finished ASAP. 2 3
Nicktendo Posted December 22, 2017 Author Posted December 22, 2017 Welcome back! Finally got my PC set up after a trip to Ikea, so it's time to continue!
