I'm looking forward to this game despite having no background whatsoever in Dark Souls or similar games. It doesn't look like my type of game but will give this a chance. I'm considering it but I never finished Dark Souls so I'm basically waiting on confirmation that this isn't just the same as those games even if they are highly regarded, something about them obviously didn't click with me. Bloodborne looks awesome but it has left me questioning if I'll actually play it to completion or not, if it's a short game I might as well wait no matter how good it is. Got a nice tax refund earlier this year. :p Just to be clear: I got the collectors edition which is only 10€ more than the standard edition. I'm getting Boodborne on the 27th and the following week getting Dark Souls 2 which I never finished on the PS3 and the PS4 version has all the DLC and is 1080p 60 FPS (£31 on Amazon).
