I got Pirahna Plant in the post the other day. It looks fantastic, great quality as usual.

Remember when everyone was up in arms about amiibo, good times.

Available to pre-order at the Nintendo store now, might as well get it if you have Diablo III, it's probably going to sell out.

Also, nice to see an amiibo which looks like you can get it out of the packaging without destroying it.

Why can't they make all of them this way?

That's weird. You could buy this at GAME well before Christmas. ::shrug:

@Ike did you manage to get the Piranha Plant?

My latest batch arrived last week. The Ice Climbers are fantastic. :D

Yup, thanks for the heads up, didn't expect GAME to come through.

I need to pick up Ice Climbers as well, wasn't sure at first but I think I will now.

Also crazy how amazing the quality is now. That Bulbasaur or whatever looks great

Ivysaur is the luckiest Pokémon ever to get into the most popular mass crossover game and yet, people still can't remember its name!

You give the first quadruped in Smash the respect it deserves!

Isn’t Pikachu technically the first quadruped?

Nope, it walks around on two feet half the time. Pikachu's a poser.

OK, you win this round. Even if he does walk around on two feet in Donkey Kong 64.

EDIT: Actually, no. I take it back. DK hides it well, but I'm on to him! Bipedal scum!

@Ronnie should give the first quadruped in Smash the respect it deserves!

Technically, aren't all simians bipedal?

So that does indeed give Ivysaur that illustrious title (in fact, it's still the only quadruped in Smash!)

Nope, only some, such as gibbons exclusively walk on their hind legs. Most are knuckle walkers, as can be seen in this gif:

No no no @bob, Pikachu is as quadrupedal in its movement as Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong is a gorrila which are apes. Apes are a subspecies of monkeys or simians. Apes are indeed knucklerunners. Pikachu is based on a mouse which are pure quadrupedal runners. But even while it’s a fantastical creation, you can see it never runs on its hind feet. So pikachu is 100% quadrupedal with the ability to stand and walk on its hind legs.

conclusion; both DK and Pikachu are the first quadrupedal fighters in Smash.

Fair. Pikachu does walk around on his hind legs sometimes, which is why I put him in the 'sometimes' category, but he is listed as a quadruped here - https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pikachu_(Pokémon) (other Pokémon websites are available)

This should clear a few things up:

Mad respect for posting a tier list.

But even by this nonsense tables logic, shouldn't King K. Rool be in sometimes quadrupedal?

Also, Greninja never actually walks with it's hands. No, crawling doesn't count. Otherwise, that opens a whole different can of worms.

And I still refuse to accept DK as quadruped.

Literally his running animation.

I admit I chuckled at Ice Climbers, but come on, Ivysaur's the first. It was almost Diddy, but Pokémon Trainer was revealed in Brawl before Diddy.
