Looking at the list I posted there ^ I'm kinda proud of myself for skipping all the ones at the top so I could get the important one at the bottom :p

See what? My want face?

I've been contemplating a motorbike for years, but never really took it seriously, but recently I've been thinking a bike would be good for commuting, due to better fuel economy. I then left that idea behind and just decided I want a rad bike. It's also not helped by the fact that my boss is quite into his bikes and someone else is in the process of learning to ride.

I'm basically hell bent on getting a Triumph Street Triple, as everywhere I read says that it's a good first "big" bike and is relatively easy to ride. Plus, it just looks the absolute tits. Black and gold please:

Just need to save the £6k needed for the tests, the bike and the gear. No problem...

Edit: Just noticed it's the same bike @Shorty posted about on the previous page (And presumably bought). Utter bastard. *Not jealous*

Soz @Goafer - here's mine

Mine's a 2013, the one you posted is the older model with the twin, higher up exhaust. You can out-jealous me by buying a 2018 765 RS though ;)

I'd take any of them, new or old. Although I do prefer the round headlights of the early ones. Plus I don't think the newer ones come in black and gold. It's all about that John Player Special colour scheme.

I keep thinking about just getting a new one on finance (after passing the test, obviously), but I try to avoid debt wherever I can.

@Shorty didn't you used to have an rs125? When did you become a big boy?

I had a YBR125 for about 8 months, I got this over a year ago though!

Man it's like you guys don't subscribe to every post I make in the purchases thread or something. Y'all know I got a house too right?? :p

That's a bit... harsh! What don't you like about them?

Bet you'd change your mind if you were sat on the back of mine doing 130 70mph around Snowdonia or the Alps.

They're noisy, they're polluting, they are the most un...reliable?  Untrustworthy...? on the road.  Basically they can go quickly while zipping in and out of others.

You do you, but they are my second least favourite mode of transport (and only behind cars because of their ubiquity).

But my current want face is just this:

It's been a long week.

Although in searching for that I came across this which I do actually want:

Damn it that led me to this which I want (I'm so old) but its £80:
