Ronnie Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 :p I'm not usually into pre-order bonuses, but those are pretty nice
Fused King Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) So some dutch stores apparently have this stuff as a pre-order bonus. Edited July 9, 2013 by Fused King
dazzybee Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Canceled my preorder today. Far too sensible of me. Got too many games to play through, pikmin and I'm off away for most of August. Ill pick it up later (still haven't played my bowsers inside story I got at launch)
welsh_gamer Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Flubit order arrived today - fulfilled by ASDA Direct.
f00had Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I got it today too! I was expecting it to be late but I got the game super early and super cheap, very impressed with Flubit! Time to get my game on
-Dem0- Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I think I should start using this Flubit thing. Hope you both enjoy it!
Ronnie Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 EDGE gave the game a 7, seems to be getting decent but not great reviews....
Guy Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 EDGE only gave Thousand Year Door an 8. Also, a 7 is a fantastic score if 1 is terrible and 5 is average. 7s and 8s for great games, 9s for the amazing ones and 10s for those rare games that achieve perfection. Unfortunately reviewers seem to have forgotten how this scale works in the last decade.
Retro_Link Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 lol I thought that was a copy of Bowsers Inside Story for a while!... not really liking the white boxarts for this now, when the games themselves are so characterful!
welsh_gamer Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I think I should start using this Flubit thing. Hope you both enjoy it! Yep, find the cheapest price and then submit it to Flubit for usually 10%-15% off the price you find, and you always pay via PayPal. The order is supplied by whoever is willing to beat the price you found. Got this for £24.02 after submitting a link from Grainger Games, where it was £26.99. Just remember that ordering through Flubit doesn't mean you get your items fast, this was probably just a one off! Most my orders have arrived on release date. Spent an hour/hour and a half with it so far. It's been a bit slow compared to other Mario & Luigi titles, yet it's still enjoyable, but it looks like things are about to pick up now!
Guy Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 This showed up today from GAME. The hat keyrings are a nice little bonus - the Luigi one even has the "Year of Luigi" logo on the packet.
f00had Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 How's everyone finding the game so far? I thought it was a bit dull at the start but then I completed the 2nd Dream World and it was amazing, really enjoying it now.
Guy Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Yeah, it started to open up after a couple of dream worlds. Loving the graphics and the humour - wish more games looked this good on 3DS. "WHO'S NUDE? I HAVE SHOES!" Fantastic.
Aneres11 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Glad to hear you lot are liking it. I intend to get it some point in the future once I've cleared some other 3ds games. Out of curiosity (and coz I'm not home until 6ish to check!) does anyone know how much the eShop has this for? Only coz the old titles on there are all £39.99 whereas games like DKCR and Animal Crossing went up for £34.99.
Ike Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Glad to hear you lot are liking it. I intend to get it some point in the future once I've cleared some other 3ds games. Only coz the old titles on there are all £39.99 whereas games like DKCR and Animal Crossing went up for £34.99. £34.99. £29.99 via download code. Graphics are great, it is a bit odd though. Can't really describe it. Love the battle animations (M&L's little battle dance...thing). Music if fantastic. Lots of funny moments with Luigi already.
Aneres11 Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Cool not a bad price at all. Worth me getting from the eShpo as have £70 or so currently on my 3ds with £120 of vouchers unregsitered sat there! Looing forward to playing once I'm done with Paper Mario!
Rummy Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 As Very took it out of their 3 for 2 promo, I've decided to try and Flubit it against ShopTo; see what I get out of that. If it isn't at least 2.5% less I'll stick with ShopTo for my points and speedy delivery!
Murr Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Ugh today is going to slowly. Will be collecting mine after work. Only 4 1/2 hours to go
drahkon Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 How's everyone finding the game so far? I thought it was a bit dull at the start It is my first Mario & Luigi game. I think it's been amazing from the start. Only played for an hour and have just beaten the first boss (I think it was the first boss :p ), but I can say that I will love this game. The music is sweeeeeeet.
-Dem0- Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Glad to hear that you're all enjoying it so far. By the sounds of things, I would have too, had I not decided to give it to my sister instead...
Londragon Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Completed the first 'real' world and sleep world, and can easily recommend this to lovers of the first 3 games, even though a bit slow, tutorials and such. From all the reviews I've read it's only going to get better, and it's good already.
