Campaign for people to use the chat room again

I'm not sure what the previous reasons have been, but I think shoutboxes have been decided against. Either way, I think more people should chat - it's great until people forget about it.

I'm not sure why they would be against it since it's still the same chat. It's basically opt-out chat - you're in chat by default, on the page, rather than having to 'opt-in' by loading the chat on a separate page. It very vaguely reminds me of organ donors - countries that are opt out tend to have many more donors.

 

It's just a better way of doing it that would result in many, many more people using it.

He means the chat room link beside new posts etc. It is because it just takes the root url and adds /chat/chat.html to it. It used to work when we were n-europe.com/forum , because n-europe.com/chat/chat.html worked. n-europeforums.com/chat/chat.html doesn't exist. I think shorty forgot to fix it when he fixed the main site link.
