mcj metroid
Ya we have all seen the Bleepy bloppy sounds programs use when they are trying to show someone playing a videogame but this......Is on another level.. Lets play Point out the mistakes in this video Any other terrible examples of this you can think of?
Ashley
He easily carried around an original Xbox? Ridiculous!
The Peeps
What annoys me most is when you can see people randomly button-mashing and acting really into it but it changes angle and you see on the screen they're just walking around or something. Sound effects never match up either.
Coolness Bears
I think House was particularly bad when showing Metroid Fusion on the SP. xD Kept showing the same footage of the game over and over again.
heroicjanitor
May as well have said "I'll go finger the dog, see if he barks an address." I think it is a competition to be this stupid, there is no way you can do this by mistake.

Then again, the Enhance stuff is pretty great too.
Jonnas
Cracked had a related article recently. Exactly where I found one of the silliest scenes I've ever seen in CSI: I love how CSI takes everything so seriously, regardless of how ridiculous or inaccurate the situation. Playing with that projector would be a blast, though.

Yeah, didn't he refer to progression as "finishing a level?" And I was like, dude, worst game you could have picked for that line

Lets play Point out the mistakes in this video Any other terrible examples of this you can think of? WTF is this? Firstly what the hell are the characters trying to do anyway? secondly, I've not played Two Thrones, but I doubt there was any of this "You Win Advance to Level 2" crap on screen. Also I didn't know the orginal Xbox had a version of Windows/Office built into it, that was unlocked by completing a game
The Mad Monkey
Sound effects never match up either. It annoys me that a lot of British TV shows just put on sound effects from Defender when somebody is supposedly playing a video game.
arnold
Can't find a video but one that always comes tomind Rumble in the Bronx kid playing the Game Gear with no game and loving it.
Shorty
I'm trying to find a clip I saw a year or so back, I think it was from Law and Order but I'm not sure. It showed an overweight couple who had, I believe, neglected their kid and got obsessed with some co-op game which had been drawn up and animated especially for the show. It looked awful, their reactions to the game were embarrassing, and it made those clips of Prince of Persia look perfectly believable.
killer kirby
They are all shit. The Wizard is the only thing that is awesome when it comes to video games into shows.
Cube
Gears of War wasn't portrayed too bad in The Hurt Locker. Although the film was set two years before the game was released (and before the 360 was out).

I've got it on Wii (As Rival Swords) and I don't recall any Papyrus font telling me anything like that.
Dannyboy-the-Dane
Pretty much the best technology goof I've ever seen on TV. It must be done on purpose. Then again, the Enhance stuff is pretty great too. The stupidity of the concept of enhancing an image is so immense that it seemed silly to me even when I was a kid and had nothing but common sense to go by. EEVILMURRAY
What amazes me is in stuff like CSI they don't enhance it to begin with. They spend around five minutes squinting then suddenly they decide to use the anal leakage algorithm which solves the case in under ten seconds.
