heroicjanitor Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Isn't "Assiduous" more proper for this situation? Being careful? No we are just throwing in targets at breakneck speed :p
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 If mafia games were dying, you've (once again) revived them, ReZ. Well done.
Dyson Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Well fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
Jonnas Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Being careful? ...That's not what "assiduous" means
ReZourceman Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 assiduous ; noun ; i) the ass of a Sith Lord.
heroicjanitor Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 ...That's not what "assiduous" means *leaves quietly*
Diageo Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Assiduous Adjective Showing great care and perseverance.
chairdriver Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 ...That's not what "assiduous" means Isn't it synonymous with diligent/thorough?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Isn't it synonymous with diligent/thorough? Yes, it is.
Jonnas Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Yup. In Portuguese, it has the connotation of "meeting your obligations", and I made sure it meant roughly the same thing in English before posting. I didn't get the impression it referred to being careful, though. Apologies if it also does. Anyway, *zzzzzzzzzzzz*

Apologies if it also does. Anyway, *zzzzzzzzzzzz* I think it does have the connotation of meeting your obligations. In the same way thorough does. Careful is too simplistic a synonym. That said, I've only ever heard it like... thrice said in spoken English... [Also, you're speaking a second language perfectly, and being corrected by a smart alec with a dictionary, so don't feel bad. :p]
Rummy Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 You fucking lied to us. I already told you in trust no one I don't like you moving the goalposts as a GM. I am not impressed, fuck this game.
heroicjanitor Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Don't worry Rez, I'm sure he's just drunk :p
jayseven Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I was going to be vocal too -- but [puts mod had on] we should respect the GM's wishes to discuss after the game, because technically talk is not allowed during the night, and who knows what sort of information about one's alignment such bitching may present. *does a dance*[takes hat off]
ReZourceman Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 God this was confusing, lol. The sun had set and the Pokemon felt anxious about the night. A small orange Pokemon sat down and lit a camp fire. Anticipating a quiet night it grabbed a stick and popped a marshmallow on the end. Several minutes later the nearby grape and purple Pokemon concentrated hard as it watched a light pink and pinky red Pokemon - they fell over. It shook its head and walked onwards towards the shore..... A white and red Pokemon rolled around, returning once again to a familiar hut. It peeked in the window and waited for some activity. A small cyan and cream Pokemon was prancing off towards its first target. Out of nowhere a charging Pokemon launched at it. It hit the floor with some force. Covered in burns it looked up but its attacker was already way in the distance. Soon after a gold Pokemon saw the Pokemon on the floor and squirted it with a splash of water. As the gold Pokemon meandered away some bleeps and blips were heard. Several glowing numbers and symbols littered the floor. Elsewhere in town a small gold Pokemon felt a shiver down its back. A white Pokemon was hiding nearby, and sprayed it with an ice cold stream, freezing it in a block. The white Pokemon remained for the night standing guard, however the ice seemed to melt unnaturally quickly. A zipping letter flew through the town, small embers being scattered. A regal magenta, cream and black Pokemon shook frantically on this night. Feeling exhausted it closed the curtains and put on its favourite pornography tape, an activity it was far more concerned with than the politics it was involving itself with. .....A dull cyan and light brown Pokemon slowly and stealthily crept towards the grape and purple Pokemon. A precise and deadly sliding tackle floored it, knocking it unconscious. Becoming tangible the Pokemon was able to be strangled. It lay on the floor, still. An important choice loomed on a Powerful Pokemon. Meanwhile a small Pokemon started emitting beams of light..... The heavy rain near the shore subsided. A large egg lay washed up in the sand, and almost adjacent a beautiful pony lay, its flames no longer alight. Jayseven is dead. He was Ghastly, the mischeavous Pokemon. He was a Neutral. Marcamillian is dead. He was Ponyta, the roleblocking stallion. He was a member of the town. The sun reached a high point in the sky, with no clouds at all today, it shone down and illuminated even the darkest points of Pallet Town. Tales Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Ho-oH revived him. It's said so in Zell's PM. Is Ghastly the grape and purple Pokemon?
Ellmeister Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Ho-oH revived him. It's said so in Zell's PM. Is Ghastly the grape and purple Pokemon? Okay, that is blindingly obvious, I meant what has happened to him since his revival. He is not the same as he was before.
heroicjanitor Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 So there were two townie roleblockers. Boo to the people who claimed there couldn't be. Including Marc himself. This proves there is a vigilante btw, and yet another silent kill. But the mafia killing Marcamillian was weird, they could have gotten him lynched for accusing Zell. Chair, what has happened to you? Looks like he was protected, by a dewgong I'd say. The large egg washed up in the sand... That isn't a death. Wonder what happened to it/ if it is a character.
Cube Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 heroic, why did you kill jayseven? Lynch: heroicjanitor
Tales Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Me likes. Can we ask how you know btw? Vote: Heroicjanitor.
EddieColeslaw Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 The "dull cyan and light brown Pokemon" (Rhydon??): mafia or serial killer? And does that mean the egg failed to protect Marc? Those must be some big-ass eggs... I'm guessing jayseven was a redirector, according to the beginning of the night, and tripping someone up the night before. Does anyone think that the bit about the "regal magenta, cream and black" (lol) was made up? Cube, how do you know herojan killed jayseven??
