Adthegreat Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 that Robin williams advert is amazing! It certainly is, and so is his beard. In other news I just got an email saying that I can go and pick up my reserved copy tomorrow

Cube Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Mine also arrived from ShopTo today. Oh well with club nintendo down least those lucky early owners wont be able to nab all those cd's yet It was time-limited, not unit-limited.
ReZourceman Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (Don't understand why people order from GAME over Shopto)
ShadowV7 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Normally i'd agree, but pre-order bonuses and rewards discount wins out against shopto.
yesteryeargames Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 i orderd from LAME because i had £5 worth of points and wanted the free poser and case. Usally order from gameseek or shopto
Cube Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Normally i'd agree, but pre-order bonuses and rewards discount wins out against shopto. A very folded/destroyed poster and alternate box are not "pre-order bonuses".
ShadowV7 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 A very folded/destroyed poster and alternate box are not "pre-order bonuses". Well, i'll take that over nothing.
ReZourceman Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 rewards discount But the points equate to...what a 10% discount on double points? Shopto is still cheaper. Fair enough on the pre-order bonus' though. Although...yeah. As Cube said, they're not stellar in this instance.

Yeah they normally are and shopto are superior, but with £7.50 discount sitting there to use, may as well use it and stay with shopto.
Cube Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) The 3D is really, really good. Best looking 3D I've seen so far. Also, I had no idea you could move the camera while Z-Targeting, that's pretty cool. Edit: Although it's only when you use Z-Targeting and aren't locking onto an object. Edited June 15, 2011 by Cube
khilafah Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 [Feature] Robin and Zelda Williams talk Zelda: (Don't understand why people order from GAME over Shopto) might have to start going back to shopto. Wish Game would actually ship on Tuesday's instead of BS everyone!
Goron_3 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (Don't understand why people order from GAME over Shopto) Cos I got it two days early Although tbf I normally use shopto but it wasn't letting me sign in which pissed me off.
The Peeps Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I'll be going with ShopTo for my next pre-order I think. It was the bonuses that swayed me even though the poster is going to have shitty shitty shitty folds shitty idiots shit.
tapedeck Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Can you still do the 2 games 'trick' in GAME thus getting the game for £21? Dyson mentioned it earlier in the thread.
Cube Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Cos I got it two days early So did I, and I ordered from ShopTo.
Ashley Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Just finished writing my review Going to go rest my weary head for five hours then proof read it with a clearer head before posting it.
Cube Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Anyway, I got into Dodongo's Cavern. Some thoughts - The 3D is very impressive. - Sunrise = Gorgeous. - Lots of little touches inside houses (Malon/Talon's room and Impa's old house are worth a good look). - Check out the new "wall of pictures" in Zelda's garden. - Motion control works pretty well - I especially like moving the camera when Z-targeting nothing. - I don't know why, but it feels faster. Day/Night also seems to have been sped up (this may just be my memory). - The Super Cucco game seems really easy as you can tell where the cucco's are landing (thanks to the 3D) - I didn't pick up any "incorrect" cuccos. - There's a surprising amount of things that I seem to have simply forgotten. - The Ocarina notes are nowhere near as memorable as the N64 ones due to the controls. However, you can view all the notes while still using the Ocarina. - Bobbing your head to the brilliant/nostalgic music ruins the 3D a bit.
Dyson Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 FUCK ME. This game is incredible. I've had so many of those little nostalgia shivers you get when playing this game and teared up during the Navi flight scene at the start. The 3D is the best on the system so far without a doubt and it translates to the 3DS' controls so well. I've fallen in love with OoT all over again. Thankyou Nintendo. I also got a fuckin' Link hat from Codestorm House. Can you still do the 2 games 'trick' in GAME thus getting the game for £21?Dyson mentioned it earlier in the thread. Yes! And Bubble Bobble Universe is still selling for £12.99 too. Go go go.
The Peeps Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Fuck you Dyson, I want that hat! How did you get it?
