I was making a generalisation, one which I have since come to understand was not very accurate. As I said, I was of the impression that some single people view Pancake Day that way, and to be fair it isn't impossible that some do.

I lost all sense of time being here, but Ine reminded me this morning that it was Pancake Day. So, we made a mountain of...about 8 Pancakes. (Ine says it was 6. Awww. Some mountain! ) They tasted beautiful. Avec le sucre. Mmmmm. I have cravings for more now, but I don't want to have to wait a whooooole another year before then. Edit: Also, I have never found any relation between Pancake Day and Singledom. Pancake is all about the pancakes and the sugar, baby.
